Covenant:

The covenant or testament is a central, unifying theme in Scripture,
Gods covenants with individuals and the nation Israel
finding final fulfillment in the new covenant in Christ
Jesus. Gods covenants can be understood by humans because they are
modeled in human covenants or treaties.
4. Above
the covenants are the groups of people whom God is dealing with as His agent for
dispensing His program (dispensation) for mankind.
Note how they relate to the other aspects of the chart. Each Dispensation ends with mans
failure and Gods providing a new dispensation to provide salvation and hope for
those who respond to His commands.
4. Every
Dispensation has a beginning, failure on the part of man, rules about how the dispensation
will work, a transition into the next dispensation, and a climax when it is in full
operation. The Nation of Israel which is
experiencing a delay in the fulfillment of its prophesized kingdom which will come after
the rapture. This delay is occasioned by
Gods dealing with todays program which He inserted until after the rapture. Then He will finish dealing with
5. If
you would take the 6th dispensation out of the chart you would see how all of
prophecy of scripture would have been fulfilled if we did not have a Church age called His
Body: however, God inserted the dispensation of today which was a mystery hide in God
until Paul and the Apostle received it from the Lord..
