Chapter 18a

Question:

So the statue that king Nebuchadnezzar dreamed about. Was any of the parts representing the United States before the rock from heaven shattered it into pieces or was it representing old kingdoms?

Jer, I can assure you that it is not specifically cutting out the US in particular but it could be referring to government of multiple economies. Only in a matter of the prophetic truth it is covering a period which will end with the Lord Jesus return to earth to set up His earthly kingdom. We are living in the time called “the time of the Gentles” and the end if this time is Armageddon, however, there are event which will occur before this time happens. The Rapture or end of this dispensation and the entrance into the transition to Christ return to earth literally and he sits on the throne of David. This time from the Rapture to Armageddon is the beginning of the transition into the next dispensation called the Dispensation of the Kingdom. Before the fullness of the next dispensation, the dispensation of the Kingdom, the earth experiences the Tribulation/Great Tribulation periods ending with the Battle of Armageddon. The end of this transition also ends the “Time of the Gentiles”.

The 7 Year Tribulation Period - the 70 week of Daniel – Jacobs Trouble - The Transition ending with the Punitive Judgment on the Dispensation of Promise and the Dispensation of Grace. Endind with the battle of Armageddon and Christ Jesus' second coming to rule here on earth.

The Transition into the next dispensation, the 7 years tribulation period and the Battle of Armageddon, the Punitive Judgment on the World for its evil and evil treatment on the Nation of Israel and individual Jews  Obadiah 1:15; Zephaniah 3:8, which starting back when the time of the Gentiles began during the Dispensation of Promise. The wrath tribulation period is the time in which the final event have occurred and comes to the point of carrying out world judgment. Israel has been experiencing the disciplining hand of God by the Gentiles and a call to repent and turn to the Messiah, savior, Zephaniah 2:3; 12:8,.  Israel’s rejection of God the Father, God the Son and God the Holy Spirit, bring the ‘sifting’ out the true Jewish Nation and the gathering of a remnant during the tribulation period,  Jeremiah 30:11; 46:10; Hosea 3:5. He is setting up the fulfillment of the promises made to the patriarchs and King David by preparing the Nation of Israel for His earthly rule in the Dispensation of the Kingdom, Psalms 89:19-52 Exodus 19:6, Revelation 1:6, Revelation 5:10. The Tribulation is the recording of the wrath of God and the events of the Anti-Christ's deception on the world, his ruler-ship, (who is described as a beast in the book of Revelation), Revelation records the Mystery Babylon, abomination of desolation, the 3 years called the Great Tribulation, and the Battle of Armageddon; with Jesus Christ literal return to earth. The ending of the tribulation in the battle of Armageddon, God defeats and send all non believers to Hell called The Day of the Lord. Whenever, the Day of the Lord is mentioned you see the wrath of God being poured out, not at all like the Rapture of the preceding dispensation with its positive message for believers, Isaiah 13:9; Amos 5:18, 20, Zephaniah 1:8-18. The end results of the Day of the Lord brings the wrath God has stored up for the world and the Rapture is a blessing, delivering believers from the wrath as he did at the end of other dispensations, (Adam and Eve, Noah, Abraham, believers today and in the future the final extermination of Satan and those who follow him at the end of the 1000 year reign of Christ, leaving only believers for all eternity, Revelation 20:7-15; 2 Peter 2:9).

The observation of the following passages make it clear, it is a unique time of God's wrath never before experienced for the whole world with very unique and specific results.

Day of wrath - The Day of the LORD:
Psalm 110:5 (
crush governments), Isaiah 13:6 (destruction), Isaiah 13:9 (a cruel day, with wrath and fierce anger—to make the land desolate
and destroy the sinners within it), Isaiah 13:13 (the heavens tremble; and the earth will shake from its place at the wrath) Isaiah 22:5 (a day of tumult and trampling and terror), Isaiah 24:21 (punish the powers in the heavens above and the kings on the earth below), Isaiah 30:26 (the bruises-
the wounds he inflicted),  Isaiah 34:8 (a day of vengeance, a year of retribution), Jeremiah 4:9 (the king and the officials will lose heart, the priests will be horrified, and the prophets will be appalled), Jeremiah 7:32 (the Valley of Slaughter, for they will bury the dead), Jeremiah 9:25 (punish all who are circumcised only in the flesh), Jeremiah 12:3 (Drag them off like sheep to be butchered!
Set them apart for the day of slaughter!), Jeremiah 19:6 (the Valley of Slaughter), Jeremiah 30:11 (completely destroy all the nations were the Jews were scattered), Jeremiah 46:10 (a day of vengeance, for vengeance on his foes. The sword will devour till it is satisfied, till it has quenched its thirst with blood), Ezekiel 7:12 (for wrath is upon the whole), Ezekiel 7:19 (can not buy their way out of His wrath), Ezekiel 22:24 (no rain), Ezekiel 30:3 (a day of clouds,a time of doom for the nations.) Joel 1:15 (it will come like destruction from the Almighty), Joel 2:1 (sound the alarm, Let all who live in the land tremble, for the day of the Lord is coming), Joel 2:11 (The day of the Lord is great;it is dreadful), Joel 2:31 (The sun will be turned to darkness and the moon to blood before the coming of the great and dreadful day of the Lord.), Amos 5:18 (Woe - the day of the Lord, will be darkness, not light), Amos 5:20 (be darkness, not light—pitch-dark, without a ray of brightness), Amos 8:3 (“the songs in the temple will turn to wailing Many, many bodies—flung everywhere! Silence!”), Amos 8:9 (the sun go down at noon, and darken the earth in broad daylight), Obadiah 1:15 for all nations, as they have done, it will be done to them - their deeds will return upon their own head.), Zephaniah 1:8 (the LORD punishes the princes and the king’s sonsand all those clad
in foreign clothes.), Zephaniah 1:10 (a crying, wailing, and a loud crash from the hills), Zephaniah 1:14 (cry on the day of the Lord will be bitter, the shouting of the warrior there.), Zephaniah 1:15 (a day of wrath, a day of distress and anguish, a day of trouble and ruin, a day of darkness and gloom, a day of clouds and blackness), Zephaniah 1:18 (the fire ot the LORD's jealousythe whole world will be consumed, for he will make a sudden endof all who live in the earth.”), Zephaniah 2:2 (the fierce anger of the Lord), Zephaniah 3:8 (the Lord declares, for the day HE will stand up to testify HE has decided to assemble the nations, HE gather the kingdoms and HE pours out HIS wrath on them, all HIS fierce anger. The whole world will be consumedby the fire of HIS jealous anger.), Zechariah 14:3 (the Lord fight against those nations), Zechariah 14:13 (On that day men will be stricken by the Lord with great panic. Each man will seize the hand of another, and they will attack each other.), Malachi 4:1 (it will burn like a furnace. all the arrogant and every evildoer will be stubble, and set on fire), Malachi 4:5 (great and dreadful day), Matthew 7:22 (many will try to justify themselves but fail), Matthew 24:42 (you do not know on what day your Lord will come), Mark 13:20 (days cut short because of the judgment), Luke 21:23 ( a day of dread, great distress and wrath), Acts 2:20 (The sun will be turned to darkness and the moon to blood), Romans 2:5 (stubbornness and your unrepentant heart, storing up wrath against oneself ),  1 Thessalonians 5:2 (the day of the Lord will come like a thief in the night.), 2 Peter 3:10 (the day of the Lord will come like a thief. The heavens will disappear with a roar; the elements will be destroyed by fire, and the earth and everything in it will be laid bare), Revelation 6:17 (For the great day will come, and who can stand?)

The Christ Returns and establishes those out of His wrath - Isaiah 27:12 (will thresh-exhaustively gather the Israelitesone by one), Isaiah 27:13 (in that day a great trumpet will sound. Those who were perishing and those who were exiled will come and worship the Lord on the holy mountain in Jerusalem.), Isaiah 30:26 (The moon will shine like the sun, and the sunlight will be seven times brighter, like the light of seven full days, when the Lord binds up the bruises of his people and heals the wounds he inflicted.) Isaiah 60 (The Nation of Israel prominence experienced), Jeremiah 30:11; 46:28 (the LORD is with Israel and He will save them, He will not completely them, He will discipline them with justice; but He will not let Israel go entirely unpunished), Ezekiel 37:14 (God put the Holy Sprit in Israel, and settles them in their land), Ezekiel 37:24 (Jesus the Christ will be their shepherd), Ezekiel 37:28 (all Nations will know the Nation of Israel is the LORD's holy nation for ever), Hosea 3:5 (as a Nation Israel returns to the LORD), Micah 4:1(in the last days the mountain of the Lord’s temple will be established and peoples will stream to it) Micah 4:7 (the LORD will make the lame a remnant, those driven away a strong nation. The Lord will rule over them in Mount Zion from that day and forever.), Zephaniah 2:3 (The way to possibly to escape the wrath), Zechariah 3:9 (the LORD will remove the sin in a single day.), Zechariah 12:8 (LORD protect Israel, He shields them), Zechariah 13:2 (On that day, the LORD will banish the names of the idols from the land, and they will be remembered no more, HE will remove both the prophets and the spirit of impurity from the land.), Zechariah 14:5 (Then the Lord my God will come, and all the holy ones with him.), Matthews 24:36 (Jesus says when here on earth that no one knows the exact time, day or hour the Kingdom will come and with Him sating this establishes that it will come about some day), Act 1:1-7 ( Israel expected the earthly Kingdom at Jesus Christ ascension),

The above passages show that some who will have to endure through the judgment will enter the rule with Christ Jesus when it is over. These passages show the whole world is involved and the judgment applies to all the not believers and their destroyed.

The Minor Prophets and the Tribulation and the Day of the Lord with His return setting up the new dispensation, the Dispensation of the Kingdom. The transition into the Kingdom dispensation started when the tribulation started, through the punitive judgment of the battle of Armageddon and becomes in full operation with Christ Jesus return taking the throne of David on earth, (His second coming).

The major prophets have been used to investigate the future prophetic times of the Tribulation period, the period after the Rapture of the Body of Christ of today and the beginning of the transition or the continuation of the transition period for the Nation of Israel. This period for the Nation of Israel will be the time where God deal with all Israel but only a remnant of the Nation will turn to Jesus Christ where God calls them the true Israel and during this time, the redeemed Israel is His Stewards to the world. Many come to Know Jesus as savior by their stewardship of the true Israel, ending the times of the Gentiles with the battle of Armageddon and the retune of Jesus Christ to earth and setting up His Kingdom rule. The end brings in the full operation of the Dispensation of the Kingdom, lasting 1000 years.

The major prophets and their prophecies of this future time:

Daniel:

Matthew 24 -25 Signs of the End of the Age, the Tribulation Judgment or the refining Judgment of the Nation of Israel

We know that we cannot know the time of Christ Jesus return. (Matthew 24:36,42,44,50,13, “No one knows about that day or hour, not even the angels in heaven, nor the Son, but only the Father, V.42, “Therefore keep watch, because you do not know on what day your Lord will come. V.44, so you also must be ready, because the Son of Man will come at an hour when you do not expect him. V.50, the master of that servant will come on a day when he does not expect him and at an hour he is not aware of. V.13, but he who stands firm to the end will be saved.), (Mark 13:32, “No one knows about that day or hour, not even the angels in heaven, nor the Son, but only the Father.” For even the Son of God while He was on earth did not know when He would return until He was resurrected and the limitations which was placed on Him while on earth was over. Philippians 2:6-11, “Who, being in very nature God, did not consider equality with God something to be grasped, but made himself nothing, taking the very nature of a servant, being made in human likeness. And being found in appearance as a man, he humbled himself and became obedient to death— even death on a cross! Therefore God exalted him to the highest place and gave him the name that is above every name, that at the name of Jesus every knee should bow, in heaven and on earth and under the earth, and every tongue confess that Jesus Christ is Lord, to the glory of God the Father.”

Since we cannot know the time of our Lord’s return or can we find it out, we need to be ready and assured at all times that Jesus Christ will return as He said! When we except the truth that we cannot find out we will be agreeing with God and what He says in His Word.,

Matthew 24 and 25 what our Lord did say gives us what we can know about His literal return to earth and the events during the Tribulation Judgment. These passages are some of the most comprehensive of the truth leading to His return. But, these passages do not give the time of Christ return, they only give the flavor or how the historical working will progress to the completion of the total historical events leading up to the Day of our Lord’s earthly return and the beginning of the Dispensation of the Kingdom here on earth where Jesus Christ will sit on the throne of David and He will rule with the stewardship of Israel and His redeemed from the beginning of the world..

The Rapture of the Body of Christ – or today’s Dispensation is not the literal earthly return to earth of our Lord Jesus Christ for the rapture end this dispensation which was or is part of the mystery dispensation which was not prophesied before it was given. The Dispensation of Grace or today’s dispensation will come to an end with the believers being taken to heaven and the resurrection of the saint in Christ Jesus being transformed with glorified bodies. At this time our Lord Jesus Christ only come in the clouds and call the dead and living believers to join Him in the clouds and be with Him from then on and with this event the tribulation punitive judgment begins here on earth lasting 7 years.

All believers are given glorified bodies when the Rapture occurs and these saints will not reproduce children in their glorified body and sense they will not reproduce they cannot be the one spoken about who endure through the tribulation judgment; therefore, the event of the Rapture will take place years before the prophesied Tribulation of Jacobs Trouble also, called the 70th week of Daniel. If the saints of this dispensation were the ones spoken about then there would be no saints entering the 1000 year millennial reign to repopulate the earth. The second coming of Christ or The Day of the Lord, which is at the end of the Tribulation period the non believers are destroyed and those believer who received Christ Jesus as savior and endured the tribulation judgment which were left and have natural bodies will repopulate the 1000 year reign of Christ Jesus or the Dispensation of the Kingdom.

This is a important difference of the two dispensations which are yet to occur as of 2011, the year of writing this truth, Revelation 20:1-8 it is a very important difference of the end of the dispensation of Grace were there will be no believers left behind, 1 Thessalonians 4:13-18 however, at the end of the tribulation there will be no unbelievers left here on earth, 2 Thessalonians 2:2,8-12, cf. note: v 21 of Revelation 19:1-21, 14:14-20, 16:13-16, Matthew 24,25 (battle of Armageddon also the Day of the Lord), Revelation 20:1-8. As said the believer’s risen at the end of the Dispensation of Grace will not have bodies of flesh and blood to reproduce where at the end of the tribulation the believers who are alive at its end have bodies of flesh and they will reproduce offspring during the 1000 year reign of Christ

Matthew 24:1,2 1 Jesus left the temple and was walking away when his disciples came up to him to call his attention to its buildings. 2 “Do you see all these things?” he asked. “I tell you the truth, not one stone here will be left on another; everyone will be thrown down.” (Noting the next verses the disciples put the destruction of the temple and our Lord’s second coming together but the Lord gives record of both events as we study scripture. ‘This generation will not pass away until all this (about the temple), be fulfilled,’ verse 34, Matthew 24 may refer to the truth that no man knows the day or time of His return and the temple which was destroyed in 70 AD by the Romans.) (Or the teaching could refer to the teaching, ‘this generation will not pass until all this is fulfilled,’ could be referring to a future generation of which these events will occur. The generation addressed could be referring to the future 7 year tribulation generation also, called Jacob’s Trouble or the 70th week of Daniel.). (Luke 21:20- 24 “When you see Jerusalem being surrounded by armies, you will know that its desolation is near. 21 Then let those who are in Judea flee to the mountains, let those in the city get out, and let those in the country not enter the city. For, this is the time of punishment in fulfillment of all that has been written. How dreadful it will be in those days for pregnant women and nursing mothers! There will be great distress in the land and wrath against this people. They will fall by the sword and will be taken as prisoners to all the nations. Jerusalem will be trampled on by the Gentiles until the times of the Gentiles are fulfilled.”

Matthew 24:3 As Jesus was sitting on the Mount of Olives, the disciples came to him privately. “Tell us,” they said, “when will this happen, (Temple being destroyed) and what will be the sign of your coming and of the end of the age?” (There was three questions asked by the disciples.), (1. The end of the age could refer to the present time of which they were living or a future age.), (2. We do know the following verses do answer the question of the event of Christ return to earth and with these events no one knows when the time or day of their fullness but these will the be signs of it coming.) The following will describe the events of Jacob’s trouble and the punitive judgment or refining judgment on the Nation of Israel, setting the event for the 1000 year millennial reign. 3. It covers the last days of the Time of the Gentiles and Israel’s reestablishment as the stewards of God, Acts 1:6, 3:21. This ends the Dispensation of Promises and the punitive prophesied judgment and the events going into the Dispensation of the Kingdom.

We need to realize that the Tribulation period is also the punitive judgment on the non-believers living in today's dispensation, and when the tribulation period begins the believers will be gone in the raptured leaving the non-believers and the same judgment which the Nation of Israel experience the whole world will undergo, Isaiah 24. At the end of the tribulation Jesus Christ does retunes to earth where He set up the earthly rule, and the period of the tribulation which is also the continuation of the period called the time of the Gentiles (Luke 21:24), will come to an end and the Nation of Israel will have experienced their refining judgment and the promise given them since their beginning, the promises made to Abraham Isaac and Jacob will come to realization. The reason we mention it now is because one can learn about the order of events leading to this time, the Tribulation Period and the ending of this dispensation, the Dispensation of Grace, today's dispensation.

There are two main passages which describe the failure of the stewards of this dispensation today and prophecies the end of today's dispensation which was recorded by the apostle to the Gentiles in 1 Timothy 4 and 2 Timothy 3 written by the apostle Paul. 1 Timothy 4:1-3, "The Spirit clearly says that in later times (of the Dispensation of Grace), some will abandon the faith (believers), and follow deceiving spirits and things taught by demons. Such teachings come through hypocritical liars, whose consciences have been seared as with a hot iron. They forbid people to marry and order them to abstain from certain foods, which God created to be received with thanksgiving by those who believe and who know the truth." 2 Timothy 3:1-7, "But mark this: There will be terrible times in the last days, (the last days of this dispensation today). People will be lovers of themselves, lovers of money, boastful, proud, abusive, disobedient to their parents, ungrateful, unholy, without love, unforgiving, slanderous, without self-control, brutal, not lovers of the good, treacherous, rash, conceited, lovers of pleasure rather than lovers of God—having a form of godliness but denying its power. Have nothing to do with them. They are the kind who worm their way into homes and gain control over weak-willed women, who are loaded down with sins and are swayed by all kinds of evil desires, always learning but never able to acknowledge the truth.". We see that today's dispensation end in failure just as the ones which were before it; because, the stewards are not living and giving proper testimony of God's grace, mercy and love, (The Gospel of Redemption). All dispensations end in failure because the institution of the steward for that particular dispensation who were ordained and called to make a difference no longer live, act or give testimony of the truth of God as they were commissioned. In doing so the world no longer have the correcting hand which God ordained to police and promote holiness, justice and righteousness, (the salt of the world, the light not hid, etc.). The only dispensation which does not fail is The Dispensation of the Fullness of Time, the eternal dispensation because God brings everything to completion and there will be no evil, Satan and his hosts, or non believers in it forever, Ephesians 1:10, Revelation 21-22.

Paul reveals God's grace which was a mystery from other dispensations that the believers who are/were faithful in this dispensation will not go through the Punitive Tribulation Judgment for they will be raptured out when judgment comes. The dispensation today was a mystery dispensation which was not prophesized however, it continued the Time of the Gentiles until it is taken out of the way allowing the prophetic program to come to completion the punitive judgment (7 year tribulation, 70th week if Daniel or Jacob’s Trouble synonymous names of the same events), on the world.

We find that certain events happen which will show the believers living in the Dispensation of Grace, the tribulation has not started yet until these event are a reality. We read about them in 2 Thessalonians 2;1-12, "Concerning the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ, (The rapture which happens first) and our being gathered to him (Rapture), we ask you, brothers, not to become easily unsettled or alarmed by some prophecy, report or letter supposed to have come from us, saying that the day of the Lord has already come (the day of the Lord will be at the end of the Tribulation period and it could not have happened before the Rapture, 1 Thessalonians 4:13-18). Don’t let anyone deceive you in any way, for that day will not come until the rebellion occurs (The first half of the 7 year Tribulation or the rebellion occur, and the man of lawlessness is revealed (the Anti Christ will become know, the lawless one, the man of doomed for destruction, 2 Thessalonians 2:3,4, 8-10, Matthew 24:4-14), the man doomed to destruction. He will oppose and will exalt himself over everything that is called God or is worshiped (then the events which relates to the man of lawlessness), so that he sets himself up in God’s temple (this is a procesess which takes the first half of the Tribulation and when he is complete the second half will occur), proclaiming himself to be God. Don’t you remember that when I was with you I used to tell you these things? And now you know what is holding him back (The Holy Spirit in the Body of Christ believers and until the Rapture occurs, the event leading to the Day of the Lord will not occur.), so that he may be revealed at the proper time. For the secret power of lawlessness is already at work; but the one who now holds it back will continue to do so till he is taken out of the way (The Holy Sprit in believers). And then the lawless one will be revealed (he is revealed in the beginning of Tribulation period right after the Rapture), whom the Lord Jesus will overthrow with the breath of his mouth and destroy by the splendor of his coming (the end of the Tribulation). The coming of the lawless one will be in accordance with the work of Satan displayed in all kinds of counterfeit miracles, signs and wonders, and in every sort of evil that deceives those who are perishing. . Many over the course of time have been deceived with the evil of Satan with all his counterfeit miracles, signs and wonders and the tribulation period is no difference but in this time period Satan will empower and work through the Anti-Christ, lawless one because he becomes a law unto himself and he representing Satin and claims to be the Messiah and God.

The list in order from the proceeding verses go like this;
The Dispensation of Grace comes to an end because of the steward's failure, disobedience and evil and the whole world becomes very evil. The longsuffering patience of God comes to an end for this dispensation, 1 Timothy 4:1-3 and 2 Timothy 3:1-7.

Jesus Christ comes in the clouds to gather all those in Christ Jesus, 1 Thessalonians 4:13-18. The believers of the Dispensation Of Grace are not subjects of the wrath judgment or punitive judgment of God by the 7 year Tribulation,

1 Thessalonians 5:1-11.
The gathering is call the Rapture, which ends this dispensation and the unsaved are left behind, 2 Thessalonians 2:10-12.

The Rapture takes the believers out of the world which are filled with the Holy Spirit, the salt of the world, the light which shine in darkness, the ambassadors of today's dispensation, 2 Thessalonians 2:6, 7.
The 'Rebellion comes' which is the 1st three and a half years of the Tribulation period, and the rule of Anti-Christ is revealed, 2 Thessalonians 2:3,4, 8-10, Matthew 24:4-14, Revelation 1-10,14, and those who become believers at this time will have to endure the martyrdom along with the judgment the world is experiencing.

Then the lawless one or Anti-Christ will commit the abomination which is spoken about at the beginning of the second half of the 7 year Tribulation, Matthew 24:15, Daniel 9:27.

The Lord Jesus Christ will overthrow with the breath of his mouth and destroy by the splendor of his coming at the end of the Tribulation, 2 Thessalonians 2:8.

Matthew 24:4-5 4 Jesus answered: “Watch out that no one deceives you. 5 For many will come in my name, claiming, ‘I am the Christ,’ and will deceive many. (Revelation 6:1, 2, I watched as the Lamb opened the first of the seven seals. Then I heard one of the four living creatures say in a voice like thunder, “Come!” 2 I looked, and there before me was a white horse! Its rider held a bow, and he was given a crown, and he rode out as a conqueror bent on conquest. (The Anti-Christ appears first on a white horse - a deceiver who is not the true Messiah).

The world has always had tyrants which have risen and fallen who are very evil and deceptive who have deceived the people they ruled, however they are nothing compared to the Anti Christ in the future. He will make the world worship him, Israel will accept him as their Messiah, and the world religious center he establishes in Jerusalem located in the rebuilt temple of the tribulation period. The Temple will be rebuilt during this time for he sits in the temple making the world worship his image. The Temple at this time will have his image displayed in the Temple.

During this time the judgment from God will be nothing like anything senses the beginning of the earth, Matthew 24:21, 22. The Lord says the reason for a short time of the judgment is because of the destruction and death of mankind. Over half of the world’s population will be destroyed a forth during the fourth seal spoken about in Revelation 6:7,8 and a third killed according to Revelation 9:13-21. This may not even refer to the believers killed by the Anti Christ described in the 5th seal, Revelation 6:9 because God’s judgment is being poured out for the evil of the times and Anti Christ in the fourth seal.

Matthew 24: 6 You will hear of wars and rumors of wars, but see to it that you are not alarmed. (Revelation 6:3, 4, When the Lamb opened the second seal, I heard the second living creature say, “Come!” 4 Then another horse came out, a fiery red one. Its rider was given power to take peace from the earth and to make men slay each other. To him was given a large sword.), Such things must happen, but the end is still to come.

Matthew 24: 7 Nation will rise against nation, and kingdom against kingdom. There will be famines and earthquakes in various places. 8 All these are the beginning of birth pains. (Revelation 6:5, 6, 5 When the Lamb opened the third seal, I heard the third living creature say, “Come!” I looked, and there before me was a black horse! Its rider was holding a pair of scales in his hand. 6 Then I heard what sounded like a voice among the four living creatures, saying, “A quart of wheat for a day’s wages, and three quarts of barley for a day’s wages, and do not damage the oil and the wine!”) , (Revelation 6:7, When the Lamb opened the fourth seal, I heard the voice of the fourth living creature say, “Come!” 8 I looked, and there before me was a pale horse! Its rider was named Death, and Hades was following close behind him. They were given power over a fourth of the earth to kill by sword, famine and plague, and by the wild beasts of the earth.)

Matthew 24: 9 “Then you will be handed over to be persecuted and put to death, and you will be hated by all nations because of me. (Revelation 6:9-11, When he opened the fifth seal, I saw under the altar the souls of those who had been slain because of the word of God and the testimony they had maintained. 10 They called out in a loud voice, “How long, Sovereign Lord, holy and true, until you judge the inhabitants of the earth and avenge our blood?” 11 Then each of them was given a white robe, and they were told to wait a little longer, until the number of their fellow servants and brothers who were to be killed as they had been was completed.)

Matthew 24: 10 At that time many will turn away from the faith and will betray and hate each other, 11 and many false prophets will appear and deceive many people. 12 Because of the increase of wickedness, the love of most will grow cold, 13 but he who stands firm to the end will be saved. (Great confusion, chaotic – Revelation 6:12 -14, I watched as he opened the sixth seal. There was a great earthquake. The sun turned black like sackcloth made of goat hair, the whole moon turned blood red, 13 and the stars in the sky fell to earth, as late figs drop from a fig tree when shaken by a strong wind. 14 The sky receded like a scroll, rolling up, and every mountain and island was removed from its place.) (Revelation 6:15 - 17, Then the kings of the earth, the princes, the generals, the rich, the mighty, and every slave and every free man hid in caves and among the rocks of the mountains. 16 They called to the mountains and the rocks, “Fall on us and hide us from the face of him who sits on the throne and from the wrath of the Lamb! 17 For the great day of their wrath has come, and who can stand?”)

Matthew 24: 14 And this gospel of the kingdom will be preached in the whole world as a testimony to all nations, and then the end will come. [144,000 from the twelve tribes of Israel who are commissioned and carry the Kingdom gospel (the Messiahs Kingdom – Davidic rule of Messiah coming to earth to reign through the remnant saved going into the Dispensation of the Kingdom) – Revelation 7: 1 After this I saw four angels standing at the four corners of the earth, holding back the four winds of the earth to prevent any wind from blowing on the land or on the sea or on any tree. 2 Then I saw another angel coming up from the east, having the seal of the living God. He called out in a loud voice to the four angels who had been given power to harm the land and the sea: 3 “Do not harm the land or the sea or the trees until we put a seal on the foreheads of the servants of our God.” 4 Then I heard the number of those who were sealed: 144,000 from all the tribes of Israel.”], (They are given supernatural perseverance to evangelize the world, Gospel of the Kingdom with the Gospel of salvation given and many responding, they are zealous preachers sealed by God because in god would not intervene they would be martyred but the go through the rest of the tribulation wrath judgment into the dispensation of the Kingdom.)

Matthew 24: 15 “So when you see standing in the holy place ‘the abomination that causes desolation, spoken of through the prophet Daniel, Daniel 9:27—let the reader understand—(The second half of the Tribulation period has begun. Now the wrath of God will bring the final punitive judgment of the Tribulation.) 16 then let those who are in Judea flee to the mountains. 17 Let no one on the roof of his house go down to take anything out of the house. 18 Let no one in the field go back to get his cloak. 19 How dreadful it will be in those days for pregnant women and nursing mothers! 20 Pray that your flight will not take place in winter or on the Sabbath.

(Worse day on earth – like a woman in travel which gets worse as the time of delivery approaches so does the Tribulation period from this point on. The abomination of desolation is the same time spoken called 'Jacobs Trouble', Jeremiah 30:7 – the Great Tribulation period of the seven year tribulation. The great tribulation time will last 3 1/2 years or the last half of the 7 years Tribulation and then Christ Jesus will return to earth and set up the earthly kingdom starting the Dispensation of the 1000 year Kingdom.) (Daniel 9:27, He will confirm a covenant with many for one ‘seven.’ In the middle of the ‘seven’ he will put an end to sacrifice and offering. And on a wing of the temple he will set up an abomination that causes desolation, until the end that is decreed is poured out on him. Daniel 11:31, “His armed forces will rise up to desecrate the temple fortress and will abolish the daily sacrifice. Then they will set up the abomination that causes desolation. Daniel 12:11 from the time that the daily sacrifice is abolished and the abomination that causes desolation is set up, there will be 1,290 days.)

Antiochus Epiphanes 175-134BC – attempted to suppress the practice of basic Jewish religious laws from public observations. He desecrated the Temple by setting up the ‘abomination of desolation’ an idol – a pig. He forbids both circumcision and possession of Jewish Scriptures on penalty of death. He forbids observation of the Sabbath and offerings of sacrifices at the Temple. He forced the requirement of sacrifices to idols by the Jewish leaders. They were to follow the laws of Nations on the earth forsaking the sacrifices and atonement to the God of creation. Hanukah is a celebration of the Jewish residence to Epiphanes by Judas Maccabeus, and the victories he accomplished during this time in history. The book of the First Maccabees give the history of these events.

Matthew 24: 21 For then, (Speaking of the event from the proceeding verse, (15-20) 'the abomination that causes desolation'). there will be great distress, unequaled from the beginning of the world until now—and never to be equaled again. 22 If those days had not been cut short, no one would survive, but for the sake of the elect those days will be shortened. 23 At that time if anyone says to you, ‘Look, here is the Christ!’ or, ‘There he is!’ do not believe it. It is describing the time of the tribulation where the judgment from God and Satan opposition become very great it is described as a mother's worse pains during her traveling time when giving birth, the passage describes a time of dissention, devastation, diseases, death, disloyalty, dilution, defection, declaration and today we see all this sort of thing happening but not the birthing time of the tribulation and its fulfillment which verse 21 describes, the’ great distress, unequaled from the beginning of the world until now—and never to be equaled again’ . In Matthew 24:6-8, He stated that the appearance of false christs, wars and rumors of wars, famines, and earthquakes are "the beginning of birth pains but by verses 15-20 they become extreme.

The final events God has revealed will come to completion after the the middle of the 7 year tribulation. He described it as ‘a woman in sever birth pain of the delivery of a child’. Even today the time is progressing or moving towards the delivery time which is the return of Christ to earth - the birthing time starts and will come to completion in a short time period (7years). Remember pregnancy happens for nine months then the travel. In this dispensation the pregnancy is going on behind the seen but the travel happens at the Rapture. The overlay of today’s dispensation does not mean that world events is not moving to completion but God is putting the events in order, behind the scene.
The tribulation is a refining time and a remnant of Jewish believers which will be purified to fulfill the promises made to the Nation of Israel. The remnant taken out of the whole during the tribulation will make up the new refined Nation of Israel that go into the dispensation of the Kingdom who rule and reigns with Christ Jesus. They will be in their natural bodies which have not been glorified yet to reproduce during the Dispensation of the Kingdom. They along with those Gentiles who endured the Tribulation period who accepted the Lord Jesus Christ as savior.

Matthew 24: 24 For false Christs and false prophets will appear and perform great signs and miracles to deceive even the elect—if that were possible. 25 See, I have told you ahead of time. 26 “So if anyone tells you, ‘There he is, out in the desert,’ do not go out; or, ‘Here he is, in the inner rooms,’ do not believe it. 27 For as lightning that comes from the east is visible even in the west, so will be the coming of the Son of Man. 28 Wherever there is a carcass, there the vultures will gather.

No one will miss the Lord’s coming to earth it will not be in secret but open as He left the first time where men saw Him leave with their own eyes, Act 1:6-11. It will be public, visible, universal, and glorious as described in verse 27 of Matthew 24, Mark 13:26, 27, Luke 17:24,30 and Revelation 1:7, Look, he is coming with the clouds, and every eye will see him, even those who pierced him; and all the peoples of the earth will mourn because of him. So shall it be! Amen.

Matthew 24: 29 “Immediately after the distress of those days “‘the sun will be darkened, and the moon will not give its light; the stars will fall from the sky, and the heavenly bodies will be shaken. (Here our Lord shows the progression of events, central to the end – after the Great Tribulation, His second coming will be literally to earth, the context shows this truth. Sun will be darkened etc. – total disruption, Luke 17:24-37,” For the Son of Man in his day will be like the lightning, which flashes and lights up the sky from one end to the other. But first he must suffer many things and be rejected by this generation. “Just as it was in the days of Noah, so also will it be in the days of the Son of Man. People were eating, drinking, marrying and being given in marriage up to the day Noah entered the ark. Then the flood came and destroyed them all. “It was the same in the days of Lot. People were eating and drinking, buying and selling, planting and building. But the day Lot left Sodom, fire and sulfur rained down from heaven and destroyed them all. “It will be just like this on the day the Son of Man is revealed. On that day no one who is on the roof of his house, with his goods inside, should go down to get them. Likewise, no one in the field should go back for anything. Remember Lot’s wife! Whoever tries to keep his life will lose it, and whoever loses his life will preserve it. I tell you, on that night two people will be in one bed; one will be taken and the other left. Two women will be grinding grain together; one will be taken and the other left. “Where, Lord?” they asked. He replied, “Where there is a dead body, there the vultures will gather.”)
Matthew 24: 30 “At that time the sign of the Son of Man will appear in the sky, and all the nations of the earth will mourn. They will see the Son of Man coming on the clouds of the sky, with power and great glory. (The answer to the disciples question – when or the signs of the Lord’s coming is the Lord Himself. The Light appears in darkness in power and glory!) (Mark 13:20-27,” If the Lord had not cut short those days, no one would survive. But for the sake of the elect, whom he has chosen, he has shortened them. At that time if anyone says to you, ‘Look, here is the Christ!’ or, ‘Look, there he is!’ do not believe it. For false Christs and false prophets will appear and perform signs and miracles to deceive the elect—if that were possible. So be on your guard; I have told you everything ahead of time. “But in those days, following that distress, the sun will be darkened, and the moon will not give its light; the stars will fall from the sky, and the heavenly bodies will be shaken. At that time men will see the Son of Man coming in clouds with great power and glory. And he will send his angels and gather his elect from the four winds, from the ends of the earth to the ends of the heavens.” Ezekiel 32:7, “When I snuff you out, I will cover the heavens and darken their stars; I will cover the sun with a cloud, and the moon will not give its light.” Isaiah 13:4-13, Listen, a noise on the mountains, like that of a great multitude! Listen, uproar among the kingdoms, like nations massing together! The LORD Almighty is mustering an army for war. They come from faraway lands, from the ends of the heavens— the LORD and the weapons of his wrath— to destroy the whole country. Wail, for the day of the LORD is near; it will come like destruction from the Almighty. Because of this, all hands will go limp; every man’s heart will melt. Terror will seize them, pain and anguish will grip them; they will writhe like a woman in labor. They will look aghast at each other, their faces aflame. See, the day of the LORD is coming —a cruel day, with wrath and fierce anger— to make the land desolate and destroy the sinners within it. The stars of heaven and their constellations will not show their light. The rising sun will be darkened and the moon will not give its light. I will punish the world for its evil, the wicked for their sins. I will put an end to the arrogance of the haughty and will humble the pride of the ruthless. I will make man scarcer than pure gold, rarer than the gold of Ophir. Therefore I will make the heavens tremble; and the earth will shake from its place at the wrath of the LORD Almighty, in the day of his burning anger.” Zephaniah 1:15, “That day will be a day of wrath, a day of distress and anguish, a day of trouble and ruin, a day of darkness and gloom, a day of clouds and blackness.” Joel 2:1-11, “Blow the trumpet in Zion; sound the alarm on my holy hill. Let all who live in the land tremble, for the day of the LORD is coming. It is close at hand— a day of darkness and gloom, a day of clouds and blackness. Like dawn spreading across the mountains a large and mighty army comes, such as never was of old nor ever will be in ages to come. Before them fire devours, behind them a flame blazes. Before them the land is like the Garden of Eden, behind them, a desert waste— nothing escapes them. They have the appearance of horses; they gallop along like cavalry. With a noise like that of chariots they leap over the mountaintops, like a crackling fire consuming stubble, like a mighty army drawn up for battle. At the sight of them, nations are in anguish; every face turns pale. They charge like warriors; they scale walls like soldiers. They all march in line, not swerving from their course. They do not jostle each other; each marches straight ahead. They plunge through defenses without breaking ranks. They rush upon the city; they run along the wall. They climb into the houses; like thieves they enter through the windows. Before them the earth shakes, the sky trembles, the sun and moon are darkened, and the stars no longer shine. The LORD thunders at the head of his army; his forces are beyond number, and mighty are those who obey his command. The day of the LORD is great; it is dreadful. Who can endure it?” Joel 2:28-32, “And afterward, I will pour out my Spirit on all people. Your sons and daughters will prophesy, your old men will dream dreams, your young men will see visions. Even on my servants, both men and women, I will pour out my Spirit in those days. I will show wonders in the heavens and on the earth, blood and fire and billows of smoke. The sun will be turned to darkness and the moon to blood before the coming of the great and dreadful day of the LORD. And everyone who calls on the name of the LORD will be saved; for on Mount Zion and in Jerusalem there will be deliverance, as the LORD has said, among the survivors whom the LORD calls.”)

(Some will repent and come to salvation. Zechariah 12:10-11, “And I will pour out on the house of David and the inhabitants of Jerusalem a spirit of grace and supplication. They will look on me, the one they have pierced, and they will mourn for him as one mourns for an only child, and grieve bitterly for him as one grieves for a firstborn son. On that day the weeping in Jerusalem will be great, like the weeping of Hadad Rimmon in the plain of Megiddo. (The ones who reject the Lord Jesus will be destroyed – for only the saved will enter the earthly Kingdom under the ruler of our lord Jesus in the Dispensation of the Kingdom for 1000 years. The rejecters will not repent but curse God during God’s punitive judgment on the earth; Revelation 16:8-11, ‘The fourth angel poured out his bowl on the sun, and the sun was given power to scorch people with fire. They were seared by the intense heat and they cursed the name of God, who had control over these plagues, but they refused to repent and glorify him. The fifth angel poured out his bowl on the throne of the beast, and his kingdom was plunged into darkness. Men gnawed their tongues in agony and cursed the God of heaven because of their pains and their sores, but they refused to repent of what they had done.)
Matthew 24: 31 And he will send his angels with a loud trumpet call, and they will gather his elect from the four winds, from one end of the heavens to the other. (Revelation 6:12-17, “I watched as he opened the sixth seal. There was a great earthquake. The sun turned black like sackcloth made of goat hair, the whole moon turned blood red, and the stars in the sky fell to earth, as late figs drop from a fig tree when shaken by a strong wind. The sky receded like a scroll, rolling up, and every mountain and island was removed from its place. Then the kings of the earth, the princes, the generals, the rich, the mighty, and every slave and every free man hid in caves and among the rocks of the mountains. They called to the mountains and the rocks, “Fall on us and hide us from the face of him who sits on the throne and from the wrath of the Lamb! For the great day of their wrath has come, and who can stand?” Revelation 6:16, They called to the mountains and the rocks, “Fall on us and hide us from the face of him who sits on the throne and from the wrath of the Lamb!”), (Daniel 9:24, “Seventy ‘sevens’ are decreed for your people and your holy city to finish transgression, to put an end to sin, to atone for wickedness, to bring in everlasting righteousness, to seal up vision and prophecy and to anoint the most holy.”)

(We are guaranteed the Lord Jesus has promised to return and the redeemed will be gathered to Him! - Titus 2:13-14, “while we wait for the blessed hope—the glorious appearing of our great God and Savior, Jesus Christ, who gave himself for us to redeem us from all wickedness and to purify for himself a people that are his very own, eager to do what is good.” Philippians 1:23, “I am torn between the two: I desire to depart and be with Christ, which is better by far; John 14:1-3, “Do not let your hearts be troubled. Trust in God; trust also in me. In my Father’s house are many rooms; if it were not so, I would have told you. I am going there to prepare a place for you. And if I go and prepare a place for you, I will come back and take you to be with me that you also may be where I am.”
From here our Lord tells stories or parables 'as many of us know' of the times He has just been speaking about.

Matthew 24: 32 “Now learn this lesson from the fig tree: As soon as its twigs get tender and its leaves come out, you know that summer is near. 33 Even so, when you see all these things, you know that it is near, right at the door. 34 I tell you the truth; this generation will certainly not pass away until all these things have happened. 35 Heaven and earth will pass away, but my words will never pass away.” ("this generation" is not referring to the generation which He was living but the future generation which would be here after the Rapture and the beginning of the punitive, refining Judgment of the Tribulation, the generation which He had been teaching would be living, Matthew 24:1-32. )
(If 'this generation' is translated 'this Nation' and it is referring to the Nation of Israel it would mean that God's chosen Nation would not cease to exist and that all the thing would be fulfilled as prophesied. It is wrong for us to assume that just because the Nation of Israel regrouped or became a Nation again in 1948 means that this period has begun. One and important reason is because the Rapture has not occurred ending the non prophesied dispensation, the Dispensation of Grace. Until, the restrainer the Holy Spirit working through the Body of Christ the church today - the present Israel as a Nation whether in the land or out is not the generation spoken about. Another reason, if it was referring to the generation being spoken to it would violate the Lord's own words when He said no one will know the time or day of His Return in advance.)

Matthew 24: 36 “No one knows about that day or hour, not even the angels in heaven, nor the Son but only the Father. (As we have already stated at the beginning of the chapter - No one man or Angels knew the day and the hour and Jesus Himself did not know until His resurrection, Mark 13:32 cf. Philippians 2:6-11.)

Matthew 24: 37 As it was in the days of Noah, so it will be at the coming of the Son of Man. 38 For in the days before the flood, people were eating and drinking, marrying and giving in marriage, up to the day Noah entered the ark; (Genesis 6) 39 and they knew nothing about what would happen until the flood came and took them all away. That is how it will be at the coming of the Son of Man. 40 Two men will be in the field; one will be taken and the other left. 41 Two women will be grinding with a hand mill; one will be taken and the other left. (This is not the Rapture of the Church called the Body of Christ - for it is speaking of the end of the punitive judgment time at the end of the 7 year tribulation. The Rapture happens before the Punitive Judgment of the 7 week Tribulation. Second, the people taken away are the nonbelievers where in the Rapture the believers are taken to Heaven to be with the Lord in glorified bodies. Third, in contrast to the Rapture nonbelievers are left to experience the Tribulation. and the believers at the second coming to earth will rule and reign with of our Lord in the Dispensation of the Kingdom, during this time Jesus Christ rules from the earth on the throne of David and the Jewish Nation inexperience the fulfillment of the promises made to them. Fourth, the one who was left here on earth was Noah and his family, the believers, Genesis 6:5, 8,13,17,18, 22, 5 The LORD saw how great man’s wickedness on the earth had become, and that every inclination of the thoughts of his heart was only evil all the time. --- 8 But Noah found favor in the eyes of the LORD. 9 This is the account of Noah. Noah was a righteous man, blameless among the people of his time, and he walked with God. 10 Noah had three sons: Shem, Ham and Japheth. 13 So God said to Noah, “I am going to put an end to all people, for the earth is filled with violence because of them. I am surely going to destroy both them and the earth. --- 17 I am going to bring floodwaters on the earth to destroy all life under the heavens, every creature that has the breath of life in it. Everything on earth will perish. 18 But I will establish my covenant with you, and you will enter the ark—you and your sons and your wife and your sons’ wives with you. 22 Noah did everything just as God commanded him. Last this passage and verse 39, makes it clear that the God rejecters or nonbelievers remain in their ignorance as to the end result which will await them at the end of the Tribulation period, for as it was in the days of Noah so shall it be then. Also, the Gospel of Redemption and repentance was preacher in Noah's day, 2 Peter 2:5: "but protected Noah, a preacher of righteousness, and seven others", and it will be during the Tribulation judgment but it falls on death ears, Matthew 24:14 And this gospel of the kingdom will be preached in the whole world as a testimony to all nations, and then the end will come. This ignorance is a truth which is a universal truth of the God rejecters they go on living in their sin because they rather sin than repent and come to the truth, John 3:18-20, 2 Corinthians 4:4, 2 Thessalonians 2:9-12.)

Matthew 24: 42 “Therefore keep watch, because you do not know on what day your Lord will come. 43 But understand this: If the owner of the house had known at what time of night the thief was coming, he would have kept watch and would not have let his house be broken into. 44 So you also must be ready, because the Son of Man will come at an hour when you do not expect him.

Matthew 24: 45 “Who then is the faithful and wise servant, whom the master has put in charge of the servants in his household to give them their food at the proper time? 46 It will be good for that servant whose master finds him doing so when he returns. 47 I tell you the truth, he will put him in charge of all his possessions. 48 But suppose that servant is wicked and says to himself, ‘My master is staying away a long time,’ 49 and he then begins to beat his fellow servants and to eat and drink with drunkards. 50 The master of that servant will come on a day when he does not expect him and at an hour he is not aware of. 51 He will cut him to pieces and assign him a place with the hypocrites, where there will be weeping and gnashing of teeth.

Matthew 25
The Parable of the Ten Virgins

1 “At that time the kingdom of heaven will be like ten virgins who took their lamps and went out to meet the bridegroom. 2 Five of them were foolish and five were wise. 3 The foolish ones took their lamps but did not take any oil with them. 4 The wise, however, took oil in jars along with their lamps. 5 The bridegroom was a long time in coming, and they all became drowsy and fell asleep. 6 “At midnight the cry rang out: ‘Here’s the bridegroom! Come out to meet him!’ 7 “Then all the virgins woke up and trimmed their lamps. 8 The foolish ones said to the wise, ‘Give us some of your oil; our lamps are going out.’ 9 “‘No,’ they replied, ‘there may not be enough for both us and you. Instead, go to those who sell oil and buy some for yourselves.’ 10 “But while they were on their way to buy the oil, the bridegroom arrived. The virgins who were ready went in with him to the wedding banquet. And the door was shut. 11 “Later the others also came. ‘Sir! Sir!’ they said. ‘Open the door for us!’ 12 “But he replied, ‘I tell you the truth, I don’t know you.’ 13 “Therefore keep watch, because you do not know the day or the hour.

The Parable of the Talents

14 “Again, it will be like a man going on a journey, who called his servants and entrusted his property to them. 15 To one he gave five talents of money, to another two talents, and to another one talent, each according to his ability. Then he went on his journey. 16 The man who had received the five talents went at once and put his money to work and gained five more. 17 So also, the one with the two talents gained two more. 18 But the man who had received the one talent went off, dug a hole in the ground and hid his master’s money. 19 “After a long time the master of those servants returned and settled accounts with them. 20 The man who had received the five talents brought the other five. ‘Master,’ he said, ‘you entrusted me with five talents. See, I have gained five more.’ 21 “His master replied, ‘Well done, good and faithful servant! You have been faithful with a few things; I will put you in charge of many things. Come and share your master’s happiness!’ 22 “The man with the two talents also came. ‘Master,’ he said, ‘you entrusted me with two talents; see, I have gained two more.’ 23 “His master replied, ‘Well done, good and faithful servant! You have been faithful with a few things; I will put you in charge of many things. Come and share your master’s happiness!’ 24 “Then the man who had received the one talent came. ‘Master,’ he said, ‘I knew that you are a hard man, harvesting where you have not sown and gathering where you have not scattered seed. 25 So I was afraid and went out and hid your talent in the ground. See, here is what belongs to you.’ 26 “His master replied, ‘You wicked, lazy servant! So you knew that I harvest where I have not sown and gather where I have not scattered seed? 27 Well then, you should have put my money on deposit with the bankers, so that when I returned I would have received it back with interest. 28 “‘Take the talent from him and give it to the one who has the ten talents. 29 For everyone who has will be given more, and he will have an abundance. Whoever does not have, even what he has will be taken from him. 30 And throw that worthless servant outside, into the darkness, where there will be weeping and gnashing of teeth.’

The Sheep and the Goats

31 “When the Son of Man comes in his glory, and all the angels with him, he will sit on his throne in heavenly glory. 32 All the nations will be gathered before him, and he will separate the people one from another as a shepherd separates the sheep from the goats. 33 He will put the sheep on his right and the goats on his left. 34 “Then the King will say to those on his right, ‘Come, you who are blessed by my Father; take your inheritance, the kingdom prepared for you since the creation of the world. 35 For I was hungry and you gave me something to eat, I was thirsty and you gave me something to drink, I was a stranger and you invited me in, 36 I needed clothes and you clothed me, I was sick and you looked after me, I was in prison and you came to visit me.’ 37 “Then the righteous will answer him, ‘Lord, when did we see you hungry and feed you, or thirsty and give you something to drink? 38 When did we see you a stranger and invite you in, or needing clothes and clothe you? 39 When did we see you sick or in prison and go to visit you?’ 40 “The King will reply, ‘I tell you the truth, whatever you did for one of the least of these brothers of mine, you did for me.’ 41 “Then he will say to those on his left, ‘Depart from me, you who are cursed, into the eternal fire prepared for the devil and his angels. 42 For I was hungry and you gave me nothing to eat, I was thirsty and you gave me nothing to drink, 43 I was a stranger and you did not invite me in, I needed clothes and you did not clothe me, I was sick and in prison and you did not look after me.’ 44 “They also will answer, ‘Lord, when did we see you hungry or thirsty or a stranger or needing clothes or sick or in prison, and did not help you?’ 45 “He will reply, ‘I tell you the truth, whatever you did not do for one of the least of these; you did not do for me.’ 46 “Then they will go away to eternal punishment, but the righteous to eternal life.”

The first three chapters of the Prophetic Book of Revelation:

The first thing that needs to be considered is the 7 churches in the book of Revelation.  Many Bible scholars over the years have tried to reconcile the word church making the seven churches the church of today’s dispensation, the Body of Christ church in the Dispensation of Grace.  The passage is better understood if it is considered from a dispensational point of view which covers the churches of the tribulation, v11 and their need to remain faithful.  The time period of this prophecy is the Day of the Lord or the Tribulation Period.  Therefore, a reevaluate of the passage is needed.

Note verse one of chapter one in the book of Revelation, John says that the things that he is about to write about are ‘soon to take place’ not events already existing, v1. John is writing the book of Revelation about future events taking place and when the first three chapters talk about the seven churches they refer to the time he’s writing about.  John is writing about the Day of the Lord, verses 7, 10 and the seven churches are the believers who are going through the seven years of the tribulation.  The angel of God is now speaking to them and warning them that the final stage of the tribulation is about to take place and those within the church are to be ready and remain faithful to enter into the millennial Kingdom and the reign of Christ and to remain faithful during this judgment, v7, 9.

Removal will be dished out to the nonbelievers and exhortation to be faithful to the end:

Church in Ephesus - 2:4 Yet I hold this against you: You have forsaken your first love. 5 Remember the height from which you have fallen! Repent and do the things you did at first. If you do not repent, I will come to you and remove your lampstand from its place. ----7To him who overcomes, I will give the right to eat from the tree of life, which is in the paradise of God.

The Church in Smyrna – 2:8 ---yet you are rich! I know the slander of those who say they are Jews and are not, but are a synagogue of Satan, ----- 11 He who overcomes will not be hurt at all by the second death.

The Church in Pergamum – 2: 14 Nevertheless, I have a few things against you: You have people there who hold to the teaching of Balaam, who taught Balak to entice the Israelites to sin by eating food sacrificed to idols and by committing sexual immorality. 15 Likewise you also have those who hold to the teaching of the Nicolaitans. 16 Repent therefore! Otherwise, I will soon come to you and will fight against them with the sword of my mouth. -----17To him who overcomes, I will give some of the hidden manna. I will also give him a white stone with a new name written on it, known only to him who receives it.

The Church in Thyatira – 2: 20 Nevertheless, I have this against you: You tolerate that woman Jezebel, who calls herself a prophetess. By her teaching she misleads my servants into sexual immorality and the eating of food sacrificed to idols. 21 I have given her time to repent of her immorality, but she is unwilling. 22 So I will cast her on a bed of suffering, and I will make those who commit adultery with her suffer intensely, unless they repent of her ways. 23 I will strike her children dead. Then all the churches will know that I am he who searches hearts and minds, and I will repay each of you according to your deeds. 24 Now I say to the rest of you in Thyatira, to you who do not hold to her teaching and have not learned Satan’s so-called deep secrets---- 26 To him who overcomes and does my will to the end, I will give authority over the nations— 27 ‘He will rule them with an iron scepter; he will dash them to pieces like pottery’[b]— just as I have received authority from my Father. 28 I will also give him the morning star. 29 He who has an ear, let him hear what the Spirit says to the churches.

The Church in Sardis – 3:1These are the words of him who holds the seven spirits[b] of God and the seven stars. I know your deeds; you have a reputation of being alive, but you are dead. 2 Wake up! Strengthen what remains and is about to die, for I have not found your deeds complete in the sight of my God. 3 Remember, therefore, what you have received and heard; obey it, and repent. But if you do not wake up, I will come like a thief, and you will not know at what time I will come to you. ----- 5 He who overcomes will, like them, be dressed in white. I will never blot out his name from the book of life, but will acknowledge his name before my Father and his angels. 6 He who has an ear, let him hear what the Spirit says to the churches.

The Church in Philadelphia ---- 3:8 I know that you have little strength, yet you have kept my word and have not denied my name. 9 I will make those who are of the synagogue of Satan, who claim to be Jews though they are not, but are liars—I will make them come and fall down at your feet and acknowledge that I have loved you. 10 Since you have kept my command to endure patiently, I will also keep you from the hour of trial that is going to come upon the whole world to test those who live on the earth. 11 I am coming soon. Hold on to what you have, so that no one will take your crown. 12 Him who overcomes I will make a pillar in the temple of my God. Never again will he leave it. I will write on him the name of my God and the name of the city of my God, the new Jerusalem, which is coming down out of heaven from my God; and I will also write on him my new name.

The Church in Laodicea – 3: 14 These are the words of the Amen, the faithful and true witness, the ruler of God’s reation. 15 I know your deeds, that you are neither cold nor hot. I wish you were either one or the other! 16 So, because you are lukewarm—neither hot nor cold—I am about to spit you out of my mouth. 17 You say, ‘I am rich; I have acquired wealth and do not need a thing.’ But you do not realize that you are wretched, pitiful, poor, blind and naked. 18 I counsel you to buy from me gold refined in the fire, so you can become rich; and white clothes to wear, so you can cover your shameful nakedness; and salve to put on your eyes, so you can see. 19 Those whom I love I rebuke and discipline. So be earnest, and repent. 20 Here I am! I stand at the door and knock. If anyone hears my voice and opens the door, I will come in and eat with him, and he with me. 21 To him who overcomes, I will give the right to sit with me on my throne, just as I overcame and sat down with my Father on his throne. 22 He who has an ear, let him hear what the Spirit says to the churches.”

He who Overcomes – (The ‘Overcomes’ are speaking of future churches not the Body of Christ church existing at the present time of the writing of the book of Revelation. This is not the Body of Christ church for these churches have to overcome to enter into their blessings of the millennial Kingdom in their natural bodies. The Body of Christ Church enters by death and the Rapture. The Body of Christ church is promised or given the promise of the judging of men and Angels, 1 Corinthians 6:2, 3). Those who do overcome receive promises which possibly extend into the Dispensation of the Fullness of Time in their natural bodies. And, those who do die will still receive the blessing promised but they will have their glorified bodies. With the receiving of their promise they will carry out their responsibilities of the gift.

Church in Ephesus - 2:
7 He who has an ear, let him hear what the Spirit says to the churches. To him who overcomes, I will give the right to eat from the tree of life, which is in the paradise of God, Revelation 22.

The Church in Smyrna – 2:10Be faithful, even to the point of death, and I will give you the crown of life, James 1:12. 11 He who has an ear, let him hear what the Spirit says to the churches. He who overcomes will not be hurt at all by the second death, Revelation 20:11-14.

The Church in Pergamum – 2:17To him who overcomes, I will give some of the hidden manna. I will also give him a white stone with a new name written on it, known only to him who receives it, John 6:30-71.

The Church in Thyatira – 2: 26 To him who overcomes and does my will to the end, I will give authority over the nations-27 ‘He will rule them with an iron scepter; he will dash them to pieces like pottery’-just as I have received authority from my Father. 28 I will also give him the morning star, Revelation 22:16, 2 Peter 1:19.

The Church in Sardis – 3: 4 Yet you have a few people in Sardis who have not soiled their clothes. They will walk with me, dressed in white, for they are worthy. 5 He who overcomes will, like them, be dressed in white. I will never blot out his name from the book of life, but will acknowledge his name before my Father and his angels, Revelation 6:9-15; 7:9-17; 20:4-6.

The Church in Philadelphia ---- 3:9 I will make those who are of the synagogue of Satan, who claim to be Jews though they are not, but are liarsI will make them come and fall down at your feet and acknowledge that I have loved you, Ezekiel 37 --- 11 I am coming soon. Hold on to what you have, so that no one will take your crown. 12 Him who overcomes I will make a pillar in the temple of my God. Never again will he leave it. I will write on him the name of my God and the name of the city of my God, the new Jerusalem, which is coming down out of heaven from my God; and I will also write on him my new name, Revelation 21:2; 22:1-5.

The Church in Laodicea – 3:18 I counsel you to buy from me gold refined in the fire, so you can become rich; and white clothes to wear, so you can cover your shameful nakedness; and salve to put on your eyes, so you can see. 22 He who has an ear, let him hear what the Spirit says to the churches, Psalms 122; Luke 22:29,30; Revelation 4:4; 11:15-19.”

Universal truths for all believers and the call to be faithful are seen in the exhortation of these churches but the reward given is applied and given to Israel not the Body church of this dispensation. Let us mention the universal truths which apply to all believers of all dispensations.

The Revelation Church in Ephesus- God knows the believers deeds, hard work and perseverance. He knows that sanctified believer cannot tolerate wicked men; they test those who claim to be apostles or teachers of the truth of God. There are those who have showed perseverance and have endured hardships for our Lord, and have not grown weary. God call believers to repent and do the things which they did when first saved and sought to be faithful. Repentance is an ongoing responsibility, and there are consequences or a judgment for your refusal to repent (of not being filled with the Holy Spirit, quenching or grieving the Holy Spirit and even early death).

The Revelation Church in Smyrna - The Lord Jesus knows the afflictions and poverty of the believers. The Lord calls believers not to be afraid of what you will suffer for doing right. He has told believers the devil will put some of you in prison to test you, and you will suffer persecution for it is spiritual forces believers’ battle with. Be faithful, even to the point of death, and the Lord will give believers the crown of life. Believers will not be hurt at all by the second death.

The Revelation Church in Pergamum –There are believers who remain faithful even under dire circumstances to our Lord’s name. They will not renounce their faith in the Lord Jesus Christ, even to death. There will be rewards which He will give at the bema seat judgment which we have no idea what they will entail.

The Revelation Church in Thyatira - The Lord Jesus knows the believers deeds, your love and faith, their service and perseverance, and if they are now doing more than they did at first. He knows if believers are compromising the truth and a sanctified living. There is a promise to this church to be given authority over the nations, the Body church we are given a fact of judgment over men and angels so there is a connection of authority, 1 Corinthians 6:2.

The Revelation Church in Sardis – The deeds and ones strength after enemy confrontation believers need to rekindle. Remember, what one received and heard, obeying it and repent of giving up and complacency. Believers are to be awake and active in the things of the Lord. There are believers who have remained faithful under extreme circumstances and have not soiled their clothes. They will walk with the Lord Jesus on a daily base, they will be worthy of a special reward. I will never blot out his name from the book of life, but will acknowledge his name before my Father and his angels, those who are saved will never fear condemnation.

The Revelation Church in Philadelphia - These are the words of him who is holy and true, who holds the key of David. What he opens no one can shut, and what he shuts no one can open. He knows the believers’ deeds. See, God has placed before believer many open door that no one can shut. He knows that we have weaknesses and many times have little strength, yet have kept my word and have not denied Our Lord’s name. Our Lord loves the believers who have showed their obedience by keeping His commands and endured doing it patiently. Believers from the Old Testament and the church which is His Body will also be kept from the hour of trial that is going to come upon the whole world to test those who live on the earth referring to the Tribulation period. Jesus Christ is coming soon. There is a heavenly temple of God. There is a city of my God, the new Jerusalem, which is coming down out of heaven from God.

The Revelation Church in Laodicea – The words of Christ Jesus are faithful and He is the true witness, the ruler of God’s creation. He know believers’ deeds, whether they are neither cold nor hot. He desires either one or the other. He will judge one works 1 Corinthians 3:10-15.  Believers are called to self examination to live sanctified with intention of perfection. The Lord tells believers to seek the things which last and are in heaven’ to buy from our Lord -spiritual gold refined in the fire, (testing) so you can become rich. Exhorting believers to desire God to open their eyes to see spiritual truths so to be transformed and have lasting values, (eternal truths). Those whom I love I rebuke and discipline. So be earnest, and repent. The Lord stand at the (heart’s) door and knocks, wanting believer and non believers to hears His voice and opens the Heart’s door and trust him and His truths. He will come in and eat with him, and he with me, He saves and sanctifies).

We have to remember the word church does not necessarily mean or are refer to the Body of Christ.  The word church means the called out believers.  We always have to be sure we determine which church the Bible is referring.  There has been a called out assembly of believers ever since the first dispensation.  Therefore, we need to determine which church for the time was at talking which the passage is speaking about.

Overcome - to subdue (literally or figuratively):conquer, overcome, prevail, get the victory. Synonyms - triumph over, rise above, defeat, prevail over, conquer, and beat.

Overcome is a transitive verb to struggle successfully against a difficulty or disadvantage or intransitive verb to win or be successful, especially in spite of obstacles.

The overcome of the Tribulation period will be a time of enduring and triumphing over Satan, the antichrist, the mystery Babylon, and the wrath of God on the earth’s elements. The church of today the Dispensation of Grace is not the subject of the Book of Revelations but it is about the judgment on the nonbelievers of both the Dispensation of Promise and Grace left behind after the Rapture.

The prophecy takes what John knew at his present time using it to show the future. God used the familiar truths to present the future prophecy of the 7 year tribulation period, (v19, ‘ what you have seen, what is now and what will take place later’).

1. The four Breast, which are the angels of God. the are messengers of the greatness of God and His workings. they are spoken of as the revelation of Revelations is developed:

Chapter 4:6-7 they are Identified, verses 8,9 they stood around the thorn and described as having six wings and full of eyes and they rested not say Holy Holy Holy Lord God almighty, which was and is and is to come. they gave glory, honor and thanks for God eternal. :

Chapter 5:6 Jesus Christ is in the middle of them along with the throne. Verse 7 they fall down before the Lamb when the book of the prayers of the saints are opened. Verse 10, other angels were around the four beast with praise to God. Verse 14 when the four beast said amen they and the elders fell down and worship God.

Chapter 6:1 when the Lamb opened on of the seals one of these beasts (Lion), told John come and see and John the revelation God wanted him to see. Verse 3 the second beast (like a calf), did the same thing as the first one. Verse 5 then the third beast (face like a man), did the same. And finally the fourth did the same in verse 7 (flying eagle).

Chapter 7:11 the four beast worship along with the other angels and elders.

Chapter 14:3-4 The 144,000 sang a new song before the throne and the four beasts, and the elders: and no man could learn that song but the hundred and forty and four thousand, which were redeemed from the earth. 4These are they which were not defiled with women; for they are virgins. These are they which follow the Lamb whithersoever he goes. These were redeemed from among men, being the first fruits unto God and to the Lamb. And in their mouth was found no guile: for they are without fault before the throne of God.

Chapter 15:7 one of the four beasts gave unto the seven angels seven golden vials full of the wrath of God, who lives for ever and ever.

Chapter 19:4  And the four and twenty elders and the four beasts fell down and worshipped God that sat on the throne, saying, Amen; Alleluia in relationship to His judgments..

2. The second kind of angels called beasts are evil angels , They come from the bottomless pit into the narrative of the book of Revelation in chapter 6 and spoken of until the final judgment of them. In 9:11 "they have a king over them, which is the angel of the bottomless pit, whose name in the Hebrew tongue is Abaddon, but in the Greek tongue his name Apollyon" (Satan). In 13:4 it says the world worship him and he is identification in the verse as a dragon, he is the one who gives power to the other beasts.

Chapter 6:8 The first mention of beast which I believe is referring to the fallen angles of God in connection with horses of death.  And power was given unto horses over the fourth part of the earth, to kill with sword, and with hunger with the beasts of the earth.

Chapter 11:7 And when the two witnesses finish their testimony, the beast that ascends out of the bottomless pit shall make war against them, and shall overcome them, and kill them, (17:7,8 Satan).

Chapter 13

Verse 1 a beast rise up out of the sea, having 7 heads, ten horns, 10 crowns on the horns, and on his heads the name of blasphemy, (9:11; 11:7; 17:7,8 Satan).

Verse 2 the beast was like a leopard, his feet were as the feet of a bear, his mouth as the mouth of a lion. The dragon gave him his power, and his seat, and great authority.

Verse 3 one of the beast heads had a wound which caused it death but the deadly wound was healed: and it was a wonder to the world.

Verse 4  The world worshipped the dragon which gave power to the beast: and they worshipped the beast, (looks as if Satan take upon himself to be this beast) saying, Who is like unto the beast? who is able to make war with him? 5 The beast was given a mouth to speak great things of blasphemies. His power was given to continue for 42 months (31/2 yrs). 6 The beast spoke blasphemy against God, his name, and His tabernacle, and them that dwell in heaven. 7  the beast was given the right to make war with the saints, and to overcome them: and the beast's power was given over all kindred, tongues, and nations. 8 all that dwell upon the earth worship the beast, whose names are not written in the book of life of the Lamb slain from the foundation of the world.

Verse 11 another beast coming up out of the earth and he had two horns like a lamb, and he spoke as a dragon. 12 this beast exercised all the power of the first beast and caused the earth and them which dwell therein to worship the first beast (Satan), whose deadly wound was healed. 13 This beast does great wonders making fire come down from heaven on the earth in the sight of men. 14 this second beast deceives those on the earth by the means of the  miracles which he the had power to do in the sight of the first beast; saying to them that dwell on the earth, that they should make an image to the beast, which lived from the wound of a sword (Satan). 15 this second beast had power to give life to the image of the first beast, and the image speaks, and cause many who would not worship the image of the first beast to be killed. 16 it was this second beast that made all to receive the mark in their right hand, or in their foreheads. 17 And that no man could buy or sell unless they had the mark or the name of the beast, or the number of his name (18 the number of the beast is the number of a man; and the beast number is Six hundred threescore and six, (666).

Revelation 14;6-11 an Angel preaching the everlasting gospel to mankind, preaching mankind to fear God, giving Him glory and worship because judgment has come. Another Angel pronouncing that Babylon is fallen. and a third Angel following the other two, preaching if any man worship the beast and his image, and receive his mark in his forehead, or in his hand, They will drink of the wine of the wrath of God, which is poured out without mixture into the cup of God's indignation; and the one who does shall be tormented with fire and brimstone in the presence of the holy angels, and in the presence of the Lamb: And the smoke of their torment ascends up for ever and ever: and they will have no rest day nor night, because they worshiped the beast and his image, and received the mark of his name.

Revelation 15:1-4 a sea of glass mingled with fire, (Gentiles saved through persecution some were living and some had died) got victory over the beast, and over his image, and over his mark, and over the number of his name they had the harps of God. And they sing the song of Moses and the song of the Lamb. They sang, Great and marvelous are thy works, Lord God Almighty; just and true are thy ways, thou King of saints. Who shall not fear thee, O Lord, and who will glorify thy name, for thou only art holy: for all nations shall come and worship before thee; for thy judgments are made manifest.

Revelations 16:1-11 the vials of God's wrath is pored out on the earth on mankind, and when the first Angel poured out his vial upon the earth; and there fell a noisome and grievous sore upon the men which had the mark of the beast, and upon them which worshipped the beast's image.  And fifth angel poured out his vial upon the seat of the beast; and his kingdom was full of darkness; and they gnawed their tongues for pain, And blasphemed the God of heaven because of their pains and their sores, and repented not of their deeds.

Revelation 17:1-18  the beast of 13:1 (full of names of blasphemy, having seven heads and ten horns) is spoken of by one of the seven Angel with the seven vials to John about the judgment of the woman (chapter 18 describes the judgment) who sit upon a scarlet colored beast. Her name on her forehead was the Mystery Babylon the great, the mother of harlots and abominations of the earth. 6 And I saw the woman drunken with the blood of the saints, and with the blood of the martyrs of Jesus: and when I saw her, According to verse 7 there was a mystery to John about the woman and of the beast that carried her, which hath the seven heads and ten horns. 8 The beast that is not; and shall ascend out of the bottomless pit, and go into perdition: and they that dwell on the earth shall wonder, whose names were not written in the book of life from the foundation of the world, when they behold the beast that was, and is not, and yet is.

Verse   9 The seven heads are seven mountains, on which the woman sits
Verse 10 And there are seven kings: five are fallen, and one is, and the other is not yet come; and when he cometh, he must continue a short space.
Verse 11 And
the beast that was, and is not, even he is the eighth, and is of the seven, and going into perdition.
Verse 12 And the ten horns are ten kings, which have received no kingdom as yet; but receive power as kings one hour with
the beast
Verse 13 These have one mind, and shall give their power and strength unto
the beast.
Verse 14 They shall make war with the Lamb, and the Lamb shall overcome them: for he is Lord of lords, and King of kings: and they that are with him are called, and chosen, and faithful.
Verse 15 The waters, where the whore sits, are peoples, and multitudes, and nations, and tongues.
Verse 16-17  And the ten horns upon
the beast, these shall hate the whore, and shall make her desolate and naked, and shall eat her flesh, and burn her with fire. For God hath put in their hearts to fulfil his will, and to agree, and give their kingdom unto the beast, until the words of God shall be fulfilled.
Verse 18 And the woman is that great city, which reigned over the kings of the earth.

Chapter 19:11-21 Heaven opened the Lord Jesus Christ sitting on a white horse called Faithful and True in righteousness judges and makes war. His eyes were as a flame of fire, his head were many crowns, he had a name written, that no man knew, but he himself, he was clothed with a vesture dipped in blood. He has the name called The Word of God, the armies which were in heaven followed him, and out of his mouth goes a sharp sword, the nations: and he takes rule, He treads the winepress of the fierceness and wrath of Almighty God, 16 And he hath on his vesture and on his thigh a name written, KING OF KINGS, AND LORD OF LORDS. The Millennial reign is to take place and all of mankind not saved are destroyed.  19 The the beast, and the kings of the earth, and their armies, gathered together to make war against him. 20 And the beast was taken, and with him the false prophet that wrought miracles before him, with which he deceived mankind and had received the mark of the beast, and them that worshipped his image. These both were cast alive into a lake of fire burning with brimstone. 21 And the remnant were slain with the sword of him that sat upon the horse, which sword proceeded out of his mouth: and all the fowls were filled with their flesh. No non believer go into the Millennial reign they are destroyed here and the only ones who enter the 1000 year reign of Christ is those who endured to the end and over came or refused the mark of the beast (15:1-4).

Chapter 20:1-15 1 And I saw an angel come down from heaven, having the key of the bottomless pit and a great chain in his hand. 2 And he laid hold on the dragon, that old serpent, which is the Devil, or Satan, and bound him a thousand years, 3 And cast him into the bottomless pit, and shut him up, and set a seal upon him, that he should deceive the nations no more, till the thousand years should be fulfilled: and after that he must be loosed a little season. 4And I saw thrones, and they sat upon them, and judgment was given unto them: and I saw the souls of them that were beheaded for the witness of Jesus, and for the word of God, and which had not worshipped the beast, neither his image, neither had received his mark upon their foreheads, or in their hands; and they lived and reigned with Christ a thousand years. 5  But the rest of the dead lived not again until the thousand years were finished. This is the first resurrection. 6 Blessed and holy is he that hath part in the first resurrection: on such the second death hath no power, but they shall be priests of God and of Christ, and shall reign with him a thousand years. 7 And when the thousand years are expired, Satan shall be loosed out of his prison, 8 And shall go out to deceive the nations which are in the four quarters of the earth, Gog and Magog, to gather them together to battle: the number of whom is as the sand of the sea. 9 And they went up on the breadth of the earth, and compassed the camp of the saints about, and the beloved city: and fire came down from God out of heaven, and devoured them. 10 And the devil that deceived them was cast into the lake of fire and brimstone, where the beast and the false prophet are, and shall be tormented day and night for ever and ever. 11 And I saw a great white throne, and him that sat on it, from whose face the earth and the heaven fled away; and there was found no place for them. 12 And I saw the dead, small and great, stand before God; and the books were opened: and another book was opened, which is the book of life: and the dead were judged out of those things which were written in the books, according to their works. 13 And the sea gave up the dead which were in it; and death and hell delivered up the dead which were in them: and they were judged every man according to their works. 14 And death and hell were cast into the lake of fire. This is the second death. 15 And whosoever was not found written in the book of life was cast into the lake of fire.

3. The Angel or Angel used to deliver God's Message to John

Revelation 1:1 God gave to show his servants things which must shortly come to pass and he sent and signified it by his Angel unto his servant John. Verse 20 The mystery of the seven stars which he saw in my right hand, and the seven golden candlesticks. The seven stars are the Angels of the seven churches: and the seven candlesticks which he saw are the seven churches.

Revelation 2:1 Unto the Angel of the church of Ephesus write; 2 I know thy works, and thy labor, and your patience, and how you can not bear them which are evil: and you have tried them which say they are apostles, and are not, and has found them liars: 3 And has borne, and has patience, and for my name’s sake has labored, and has not fainted 4 Nevertheless I have somewhat against thee, because thou hast left thy first love. 5 Remember therefore from where thou art fallen, and repent, and do the first works; or else I will come unto thee quickly, and will remove thy candlestick out of his place, except you repent. 6 But this you have, that thou hates the deeds of the Nicolaitanes, which I also hate. 7 He that hath an ear, let him hear what the Spirit says unto the churches; To him that overcomes will I give to eat of the tree of life, which is in the middle of the paradise of God.

Revelation 2:8 And unto the Angelof the church in Smyrna write; These things saith the first and the last, which was dead, and is alive; 9 I know thy works, and tribulation, and poverty, (but thou art rich) and I know the blasphemy of them which say they are Jews, and are not, but are the synagogue of Satan. 10 Fear none of those things which thou shall suffer: behold, the devil shall cast some of you into prison, that ye may be tried; and ye shall have tribulation ten days: be thou faithful unto death, and I will give thee a crown of life. 11 He that hath an ear, let him hear what the Spirit said unto the churches; He that overcomes shall not be hurt of the second death.

Revelation 2:12 And to the Angel of the church in Pergamos write; These things said he which hath the sharp sword with two edges; 13 I know thy works, and where thou dwells, even where Satan’s seat is: and thou hold fast my name, and hast not denied my faith, even in those days wherein Antipas was my faithful martyr, who was slain among you, where Satan dwells. 14 But I have a few things against thee, because thou hast there them that hold the doctrine of Balaam, who taught Balac to cast a stumbling block before the children of Israel, to eat things sacrificed unto idols, and to commit fornication. 15 So hast thou also them that hold the doctrine of the Nicolaitanes, which thing I hate. 16 Repent; or else I will come unto thee quickly, and will fight against them with the sword of my mouth. 17 He that hath an ear, let him hear what the Spirit said unto the churches; To him that overcomes will I give to eat of the hidden manna, and will give him a white stone, and in the stone a new name written, which no man knows saving he that receives it.

Revelation 2:18 And unto the Angel of the church in Thyatira write; These things said the Son of God, who hath his eyes like unto a flame of fire, and his feet are like fine brass; 19 I know thy works, and charity, and service, and faith, and thy patience, and thy works; and the last to be more than the first. 20 Notwithstanding I have a few things against thee, because thou suffers that woman Jezebel, which called herself a prophetess, to teach and to seduce my servants to commit fornication, and to eat things sacrificed unto idols. 21 And I gave her space to repent of her fornication; and she repented not. 22 Behold, I will cast her into a bed, and them that commit adultery with her into great tribulation, except they repent of their deeds. 23 And I will kill her children with death; and all the churches shall know that I am he which searches the reins and hearts: and I will give unto every one of you according to your works. 24 But unto you I say, and unto the rest in Thyatira, as many as have not this doctrine, and which have not known the depths of Satan, as they speak; I will put upon you none other burden. 25 But that which ye have already hold fast till I come. 26 And he that overcomes, and keeps my works unto the end, to him will I give power over the nations: 27 And he shall rule them with a rod of iron; as the vessels of a potter shall they be broken to shivers: even as I received of my Father. 28 And I will give him the morning star. 29 He that hath an ear, let him hear what the Spirit said unto the churches.

Revelation 3:1 And unto the Angelof the church in Sardis write; These things saith he that hath the seven Spirits of God, and the seven stars; I know thy works, that thou hast a name that thou lives, and art dead. 2 Be watchful, and strengthen the things which remain, that are ready to die: for I have not found thy works perfect before God. 3 Remember therefore how thou hast received and heard, and hold fast, and repent. If therefore thou shall not watch, I will come on thee as a thief, and thou shall not know what hour I will come upon thee. 4 Thou hast a few names even in Sardis which have not defiled their garments; and they shall walk with me in white: for they are worthy. 5 He that overcomes, the same shall be clothed in white raiment; and I will not blot out his name out of the book of life, but I will confess his name before my Father, and before his Angels. 6 He that hath an ear, let him hear what the Spirit saith unto the churches.

Revelation 3:7 And to the Angelof the church in Philadelphia write; These things said he that is holy, he that is true, he that hath the key of David, he that opens, and no man shut; and shut, and no man open; 8 I know thy works: behold, I have set before thee an open door, and no man can shut it: for thou hast a little strength, and hast kept my word, and hast not denied my name. 9 Behold, I will make them of the synagogue of Satan, which say they are Jews, and are not, but do lie; behold, I will make them to come and worship before thy feet, and to know that I have loved thee. 10 Because thou hast kept the word of my patience, I also will keep thee from the hour of temptation, which shall come upon all the world, to try them that dwell upon the earth. 11 Behold, I come quickly: hold that fast which thou hast, that no man take thy crown. 12 Him that overcomes will I make a pillar in the temple of my God, and he shall go no more out: and I will write upon him the name of my God, and the name of the city of my God, which is new Jerusalem, which cometh down out of heaven from my God: and I will write upon him my new name. 13He that hath an ear, let him hear what the Spirit said unto the churches.

Revelation 3:14 And unto the Angelof the church of the Laodiceans write; These things said the Amen, the faithful and true witness, the beginning of the creation of God; 15 I know thy works, that thou art neither cold nor hot: I would thou wert cold or hot. 16 So then because thou art lukewarm, and neither cold nor hot, I will spew thee out of my mouth. 17 Because thou says, I am rich, and increased with goods, and have need of nothing; and know not that thou art wretched, and miserable, and poor, and blind, and naked: 18 I counsel thee to buy of me gold tried in the fire, that thou may be rich; and white raiment, that thou may be clothed, and that the shame of thy nakedness do not appear; and anoint your eyes with eye salve, that thou may see. 19 As many as I love, I rebuke and chasten: be zealous therefore, and repent. 20 Behold, I stand at the door, and knock: if any man hear my voice, and open the door, I will come in to him, and will sup with him, and he with me. 21 To him that overcomes will I grant to sit with me in my throne, even as I also overcame, and am set down with my Father in his throne. 22 He that hath an ear, let him hear what the Spirit said unto the churches.

Revelation 5:2 And I saw a strong Angel proclaiming with a loud voice, Who is worthy to open the book, and to loose the seals thereof? 3And no man in heaven, nor in earth, neither under the earth, was able to open the book, neither to look thereon.

Revelation 7

1And after these things I saw four Angels standing on the four corners of the earth, holding the four winds of the earth, that the wind should not blow on the earth, nor on the sea, nor on any tree. 2And I saw another Angel ascending from the east, having the seal of the living God: and he cried with a loud voice to the four Angels, to whom it was given to hurt the earth and the sea, 3Saying, Hurt not the earth, neither the sea, nor the trees, till we have sealed the servants of our God in their foreheads. 4And I heard the number of them which were sealed: and there were sealed an hundred and forty and four thousand of all the tribes of the children of Israel. 5Of the tribe of Judah were sealed twelve

10And cried with a loud voice, saying, Salvation to our God which sitteth upon the throne, and unto the Lamb. 11And all the Angels stood round about the throne, and about the elders and the four beasts, and fell before the throne on their faces, and worshipped God, 12Saying, Amen: Blessing, and glory, and wisdom, and thanksgiving, and honour, and power, and might, be unto our God for ever and ever. Amen.

Revelation 1

1The Revelation of Jesus Christ, which God gave unto him, to show unto his servants things which must shortly come to pass; and he sent and signified it by his angel unto his servant John: 2Who bare record of the word of God, and of the testimony of Jesus Christ, and of all things that he saw.

3Blessed is he that readeth, and they that hear the words of this prophecy, and keep those things which are written therein: for the time is at hand. 4John to the seven churches which are in Asia: Grace be unto you, and peace, from him which is, and which was, and which is to come; and from the seven Spirits which are before his throne; 5And from Jesus Christ, who is the faithful witness, and the first begotten of the dead, and the prince of the kings of the earth. Unto him that loved us, and washed us from our sins in his own blood, 6And hath made us kings and priests unto God and his Father; to him be glory and dominion for ever and ever. Amen. 7Behold, he cometh with clouds; and every eye shall see him, and they also which pierced him: and all kindreds of the earth shall wail because of him. Even so, Amen. 8I am Alpha and Omega, the beginning and the ending, saith the Lord, which is, and which was, and which is to come, the Almighty.

9I John, who also am your brother, and companion in tribulation, and in the kingdom and patience of Jesus Christ, was in the isle that is called Patmos, for the word of God, and for the testimony of Jesus Christ. 10I was in the Spirit on the Lord’s day, and heard behind me a great voice, as of a trumpet, 11Saying, I am Alpha and Omega, the first and the last: and, What thou seest, write in a book, and send it unto the seven churches which are in Asia; unto Ephesus, and unto Smyrna, and unto Pergamos, and unto Thyatira, and unto Sardis, and unto Philadelphia, and unto Laodicea. 12And I turned to see the voice that spake with me. And being turned, I saw seven golden candlesticks; 13And in the midst of the seven candlesticks one like unto the Son of man, clothed with a garment down to the foot, and girt about the paps with a golden girdle. 14His head and his hairs were white like wool, as white as snow; and his eyes were as a flame of fire; 15And his feet like unto fine brass, as if they burned in a furnace; and his voice as the sound of many waters. 16And he had in his right hand seven stars: and out of his mouth went a sharp twoedged sword: and his countenance was as the sun shineth in his strength. 17And when I saw him, I fell at his feet as dead. And he laid his right hand upon me, saying unto me, Fear not; I am the first and the last: 18am he that liveth, and was dead; and, behold, I am alive for evermore, Amen; and have the keys of hell and of death. 19Write the things which thou hast seen, and the things which are, and the things which shall be hereafter; 20The mystery of the seven stars which thou sawest in my right hand, and the seven golden candlesticks. The seven stars are the angels of the seven churches: and the seven candlesticks which thou sawest are the seven churches.

Revelation 2

1Unto the angel of the church of Ephesus write; These things saith he that holdeth the seven stars in his right hand, who walketh in the midst of the seven golden candlesticks; 2I know thy works, and thy labour, and thy patience, and how thou canst not bear them which are evil: and thou hast tried them which say they are apostles, and are not, and hast found them liars: 3And hast borne, and hast patience, and for my name’s sake hast laboured, and hast not fainted. 4Nevertheless I have somewhat against thee, because thou hast left thy first love. 5Remember therefore from whence thou art fallen, and repent, and do the first works; or else I will come unto thee quickly, and will remove thy candlestick out of his place, except thou repent. 6But this thou hast, that thou hatest the deeds of the Nicolaitanes, which I also hate. 7He that hath an ear, let him hear what the Spirit saith unto the churches; To him that overcometh will I give to eat of the tree of life, which is in the midst of the paradise of God.

8And unto the angel of the church in Smyrna write; These things saith the first and the last, which was dead, and is alive; 9I know thy works, and tribulation, and poverty, (but thou art rich) and I know the blasphemy of them which say they are Jews, and are not, but are the synagogue of Satan. 10Fear none of those things which thou shalt suffer: behold, the devil shall cast some of you into prison, that ye may be tried; and ye shall have tribulation ten days: be thou faithful unto death, and I will give thee a crown of life. 11He that hath an ear, let him hear what the Spirit saith unto the churches; He that overcometh shall not be hurt of the second death.

12And to the angel of the church in Pergamos write; These things saith he which hath the sharp sword with two edges; 13I know thy works, and where thou dwellest, even where Satan’s seat is: and thou holdest fast my name, and hast not denied my faith, even in those days wherein Antipas was my faithful martyr, who was slain among you, where Satan dwelleth. 14But I have a few things against thee, because thou hast there them that hold the doctrine of Balaam, who taught Balac to cast a stumblingblock before the children of Israel, to eat things sacrificed unto idols, and to commit fornication. 15So hast thou also them that hold the doctrine of the Nicolaitanes, which thing I hate. 16Repent; or else I will come unto thee quickly, and will fight against them with the sword of my mouth. 17He that hath an ear, let him hear what the Spirit saith unto the churches; To him that overcometh will I give to eat of the hidden manna, and will give him a white stone, and in the stone a new name written, which no man knoweth saving he that receiveth it.

18And unto the angel of the church in Thyatira write; These things saith the Son of God, who hath his eyes like unto a flame of fire, and his feet are like fine brass; 19I know thy works, and charity, and service, and faith, and thy patience, and thy works; and the last to be more than the first. 20Notwithstanding I have a few things against thee, because thou sufferest that woman Jezebel, which calleth herself a prophetess, to teach and to seduce my servants to commit fornication, and to eat things sacrificed unto idols. 21And I gave her space to repent of her fornication; and she repented not. 22Behold, I will cast her into a bed, and them that commit adultery with her into great tribulation, except they repent of their deeds. 23And I will kill her children with death; and all the churches shall know that I am he which searcheth the reins and hearts: and I will give unto every one of you according to your works. 24But unto you I say, and unto the rest in Thyatira, as many as have not this doctrine, and which have not known the depths of Satan, as they speak; I will put upon you none other burden. 25But that which ye have already hold fast till I come. 26And he that overcometh, and keepeth my works unto the end, to him will I give power over the nations: 27And he shall rule them with a rod of iron; as the vessels of a potter shall they be broken to shivers: even as I received of my Father. 28And I will give him the morning star. 29He that hath an ear, let him hear what the Spirit saith unto the churches.

Revelation 3

1And unto the angel of the church in Sardis write; These things saith he that hath the seven Spirits of God, and the seven stars; I know thy works, that thou hast a name that thou livest, and art dead. 2Be watchful, and strengthen the things which remain, that are ready to die: for I have not found thy works perfect before God. 3Remember therefore how thou hast received and heard, and hold fast, and repent. If therefore thou shalt not watch, I will come on thee as a thief, and thou shalt not know what hour I will come upon thee. 4Thou hast a few names even in Sardis which have not defiled their garments; and they shall walk with me in white: for they are worthy. 5He that overcometh, the same shall be clothed in white raiment; and I will not blot out his name out of the book of life, but I will confess his name before my Father, and before his angels. 6He that hath an ear, let him hear what the Spirit saith unto the churches.

7And to the angel of the church in Philadelphia write; These things saith he that is holy, he that is true, he that hath the key of David, he that openeth, and no man shutteth; and shutteth, and no man openeth; 8I know thy works: behold, I have set before thee an open door, and no man can shut it: for thou hast a little strength, and hast kept my word, and hast not denied my name. 9Behold, I will make them of the synagogue of Satan, which say they are Jews, and are not, but do lie; behold, I will make them to come and worship before thy feet, and to know that I have loved thee. 10Because thou hast kept the word of my patience, I also will keep thee from the hour of temptation, which shall come upon all the world, to try them that dwell upon the earth. 11Behold, I come quickly: hold that fast which thou hast, that no man take thy crown. 12Him that overcometh will I make a pillar in the temple of my God, and he shall go no more out: and I will write upon him the name of my God, and the name of the city of my God, which is new Jerusalem, which cometh down out of heaven from my God: and I will write upon him my new name. 13He that hath an ear, let him hear what the Spirit saith unto the churches.

14And unto the angel of the church of the Laodiceans write; These things saith the Amen, the faithful and true witness, the beginning of the creation of God; 15I know thy works, that thou art neither cold nor hot: I would thou wert cold or hot. 16So then because thou art lukewarm, and neither cold nor hot, I will spue thee out of my mouth. 17Because thou sayest, I am rich, and increased with goods, and have need of nothing; and knowest not that thou art wretched, and miserable, and poor, and blind, and naked: 18I counsel thee to buy of me gold tried in the fire, that thou mayest be rich; and white raiment, that thou mayest be clothed, and that the shame of thy nakedness do not appear; and anoint thine eyes with eyesalve, that thou mayest see. 19As many as I love, I rebuke and chasten: be zealous therefore, and repent. 20Behold, I stand at the door, and knock: if any man hear my voice, and open the door, I will come in to him, and will sup with him, and he with me. 21To him that overcometh will I grant to sit with me in my throne, even as I also overcame, and am set down with my Father in his throne. 22He that hath an ear, let him hear what the Spirit saith unto the churches.

Revelation 4

1After this I looked, and, behold, a door was opened in heaven: and the first voice which I heard was as it were of a trumpet talking with me; which said, Come up hither, and I will show thee things which must be hereafter2And immediately I was in the spirit: and, behold, a throne was set in heaven, and one sat on the throne. 3And he that sat was to look upon like a jasper and a sardine stone: and there was a rainbow round about the throne, in sight like unto an emerald. 4And round about the throne were four and twenty seats: and upon the seats I saw four and twenty elders sitting, clothed in white raiment; and they had on their heads crowns of gold. 5And out of the throne proceeded lightnings and thunderings and voices: and there were seven lamps of fire burning before the throne, which are the seven Spirits of God. 6And before the throne there was a sea of glass like unto crystal: and in the midst of the throne, and round about the throne, were
four beasts full of eyes before and behind. 7And the first beast was like a lion, and the second beast like a calf, and the third beast had a face as a man, and the fourth beast was like a flying eagle.

8And the four beasts had each of them six wings about him; and they were full of eyes within: and they rest not day and night, saying, Holy, holy, holy, Lord God Almighty, which was, and is, and is to come. 9And when those beasts give glory and honor and thanks to him that sat on the throne, who liveth for ever and ever, 10The four and twenty elders fall down before him that sat on the throne, and worship him that liveth for ever and ever, and cast their crowns before the throne, saying, 11Thou art worthy, O Lord, to receive glory and honour and power: for thou hast created all things, and for thy pleasure they are and were created.

Revelation 5

1And I saw in the right hand of him that sat on the throne a book written within and on the backside, sealed with seven seals. 2And I saw a strong angel proclaiming with a loud voice, Who is worthy to open the book, and to loose the seals thereof? 3And no man in heaven, nor in earth, neither under the earth, was able to open the book, neither to look thereon. 4And I wept much, because no man was found worthy to open and to read the book, neither to look thereon. 5And one of the elders saith unto me, Weep not: behold, the Lion of the tribe of Juda, the Root of David, hath prevailed to open the book, and to loose the seven seals thereof.

6And I beheld, and, lo, in the midst of the throne and of the four beasts, and in the midst of the elders, stood a Lamb as it had been slain, having seven horns and seven eyes, which are the seven Spirits of God sent forth into all the earth7And he came and took the book out of the right hand of him that sat upon the throne. 8And when he had taken the book, the four beasts and four and twenty elders fell down before the Lamb, having every one of them harps, and golden vials full of odours, which are the prayers of saints. 9And they sung a new song, saying, Thou art worthy to take the book, and to open the seals thereof: for thou wast slain, and hast redeemed us to God by thy blood out of every kindred, and tongue, and people, and nation; 10And hast made us unto our God kings and priests: and we shall reign on the earth. 11And I beheld, and I heard the voice of many angels round about the throne and the beasts and the elders: and the number of them was ten thousand times ten thousand, and thousands of thousands; 12Saying with a loud voice, Worthy is the Lamb that was slain to receive power, and riches, and wisdom, and strength, and honour, and glory, and blessing. 13And every creature which is in heaven, and on the earth, and under the earth, and such as are in the sea, and all that are in them, heard I saying, Blessing, and honour, and glory, and power, be unto him that sitteth upon the throne, and unto the Lamb for ever and ever. 14And the four beasts said, Amen. And the four and twenty elders fell down and worshipped him that liveth for ever and ever.

Revelations 6

1And I saw when the Lamb opened one of the seals, and I heard, as it were the noise of thunder, one of the four beasts saying, Come and see. 2And I saw, and behold a white horse: and he that sat on him had a bow; and a crown was given unto him: and he went forth conquering, and to conquer.

3And when he had opened the second seal, I heard the second beast say, Come and see. 4And there went out another horse that was red: and power was given to him that sat thereon to take peace from the earth, and that they should kill one another: and there was given unto him a great sword5And when he had opened the third seal, I heard the third beast say, Come and see. And I beheld, and lo a black horse; and he that sat on him had a pair of balances in his hand6And I heard a voice in the midst of the four beasts say, A measure of wheat for a penny, and three measures of barley for a penny; and see thou hurt not the oil and the wine. 7And when he had opened the fourth seal, I heard the voice of the fourth beast say, Come and see. 8And I looked, and behold a pale horse: and his name that sat on him was Death, and Hell followed with him. And power was given unto them over the fourth part of the earth, to kill with sword, and with hunger, and with death, and with the beasts of the earth.

9And when he had opened the fifth seal, I saw under the altar the souls of them that were slain for the word of God, and for the testimony which they held10And they cried with a loud voice, saying, How long, O Lord, holy and true, dost thou not judge and avenge our blood on them that dwell on the earth? 11And white robes were given unto every one of them; and it was said unto them, that they should rest yet for a little season, until their fellowservants also and their brethren, that should be killed as they were, should be fulfilled. 12And I beheld when he had opened the sixth seal, and, lo, there was a great earthquake; and the sun became black as sackcloth of hair, and the moon became as blood; 13And the stars of heaven fell unto the earth, even as a fig tree casteth her untimely figs, when she is shaken of a mighty wind. 14And the heaven departed as a scroll when it is rolled together; and every mountain and island were moved out of their places. 15And the kings of the earth, and the great men, and the rich men, and the chief captains, and the mighty men, and every bondman, and every free man, hid themselves in the dens and in the rocks of the mountains; 16And said to the mountains and rocks, Fall on us, and hide us from the face of him that sitteth on the throne, and from the wrath of the Lamb: 17For the great day of his wrath is come; and who shall be able to stand?

5Of the tribe of Judah were sealed twelve thousand. Of the tribe of Reuben were sealed twelve thousand. Of the tribe of Gad were sealed twelve thousand. 6Of the tribe of Aser were sealed twelve thousand. Of the tribe of Nepthalim were sealed twelve thousand. Of the tribe of Manasses were sealed twelve thousand. 7Of the tribe of Simeon were sealed twelve thousand. Of the tribe of Levi were sealed twelve thousand. Of the tribe of Issachar were sealed twelve thousand. 8Of the tribe of Zabulon were sealed twelve thousand. Of the tribe of Joseph were sealed twelve thousand. Of the tribe of Benjamin were sealed twelve thousand. 9After this I beheld, and, lo, a great multitude, which no man could number, of all nations, and kindreds, and people, and tongues, stood before the throne, and before the Lamb, clothed with white robes, and palms in their hands; 10And cried with a loud voice, saying, Salvation to our God which sitteth upon the throne, and unto the Lamb. Amen.

13And one of the elders answered, saying unto me, What are these which are arrayed in white robes? and whence came they? 14And I said unto him, Sir, thou knowest. And he said to me, These are they which came out of great tribulation, and have washed their robes, and made them white in the blood of the Lamb. 15Therefore are they before the throne of God, and serve him day and night in his temple: and he that sitteth on the throne shall dwell among them. 16They shall hunger no more, neither thirst any more; neither shall the sun light on them, nor any heat. 17For the Lamb which is in the midst of the throne shall feed them, and shall lead them unto living fountains of waters: and God shall wipe away all tears from their eyes

Revelation 8

1And when he had opened the seventh seal, there was silence in heaven about the space of half an hour2And I saw the seven angels which stood before God; and to them were given seven trumpets3And another angel came and stood at the altar, having a golden censer; and there was given unto him much incense, that he should offer it with the prayers of all saints upon the golden altar which was before the throne. 4And the smoke of the incense, which came with the prayers of the saints, ascended up before God out of the angel’s hand. 5And the angel took the censer, and filled it with fire of the altar, and cast it into the earth: and there were voices, and thunderings, and lightnings, and an earthquake. 6And the seven angels which had the seven trumpets prepared themselves to sound.

7The first angel sounded, and there followed hail and fire mingled with blood, and they were cast upon the earth: and the third part of trees was burnt up, and all green grass was burnt up. 8And the second angel sounded, and as it were a great mountain burning with fire was cast into the sea: and the third part of the sea became blood; 9And the third part of the creatures which were in the sea, and had life, died; and the third part of the ships were destroyed. 10And the third angel sounded, and there fell a great star from heaven, burning as it were a lamp, and it fell upon the third part of the rivers, and upon the fountains of waters; 11And the name of the star is called Wormwood: and the third part of the waters became wormwood; and many men died of the waters, because they were made bitter. 12And the fourth angel sounded, and the third part of the sun was smitten, and the third part of the moon, and the third part of the stars; so as the third part of them was darkened, and the day shone not for a third part of it, and the night likewise. 13And I beheld, and heard an angel flying through the midst of heaven, saying with a loud voice, Woe, woe, woe, to the inhabiters of the earth by reason of the other voices of the trumpet of the three angels, which are yet to sound!

Revelation 9

1And the fifth angel sounded, and I saw a star fall from heaven unto the earth: and to him was given the key of the bottomless pit. 2And he opened the bottomless pit; and there arose a smoke out of the pit, as the smoke of a great furnace; and the sun and the air were darkened by reason of the smoke of the pit. 3And there came out of the smoke locusts upon the earth: and unto them was given power, as the scorpions of the earth have power. 4And it was commanded them that they should not hurt the grass of the earth, neither any green thing, neither any tree; but only those men which have not the seal of God in their foreheads. 5And to them it was given that they should not kill them, but that they should be tormented five months: and their torment was as the torment of a scorpion, when he striketh a man. 6And in those days shall men seek death, and shall not find it; and shall desire to die, and death shall flee from them. 7And the shapes of the locusts were like unto horses prepared unto battle; and on their heads were as it were crowns like gold, and their faces were as the faces of men. 8And they had hair as the hair of women, and their teeth were as the teeth of lions. 9And they had breastplates, as it were breastplates of iron; and the sound of their wings was as the sound of chariots of many horses running to battle. 10And they had tails like unto scorpions, and there were stings in their tails: and their power was to hurt men five months. 11And they had a king over them, which is the angel of the bottomless pit, whose name in the Hebrew tongue is Abaddon, but in the Greek tongue hath his name Apollyon. 12One woe is past; and, behold, there come two woes more hereafter.

13And the sixth angel sounded, and I heard a voice from the four horns of the golden altar which is before God, 14Saying to the sixth angel which had the trumpet, Loose the four angels which are bound in the great river Euphrates15And the four angels were loosed, which were prepared for an hour, and a day, and a month, and a year, for to slay the third part of men16And the number of the army of the horsemen were two hundred thousand thousand: and I heard the number of them. 17And thus I saw the horses in the vision, and them that sat on them, having breastplates of fire, and of jacinth, and brimstone: and the heads of the horses were as the heads of lions; and out of their mouths issued fire and smoke and brimstone. 18By these three was the third part of men killed, by the fire, and by the smoke, and by the brimstone, which issued out of their mouths. 19For their power is in their mouth, and in their tails: for their tails were like unto serpents, and had heads, and with them they do hurt. 20And the rest of the men which were not killed by these plagues yet repented not of the works of their hands, that they should not worship devils, and idols of gold, and silver, and brass, and stone, and of wood: which neither can see, nor hear, nor walk: 21Neither repented they of their murders, nor of their sorceries, nor of their fornication, nor of their thefts.

Revelation 10

1And I saw another mighty angel come down from heaven, clothed with a cloud: and a rainbow was upon his head, and his face was as it were the sun, and his feet as pillars of fire: 2And he had in his hand a little book open: and he set his right foot upon the sea, and his left foot on the earth, 3And cried with a loud voice, as when a lion roareth: and when he had cried, seven thunders uttered their voices. 4And when the seven thunders had uttered their voices, I was about to write: and I heard a voice from heaven saying unto me, Seal up those things which the seven thunders uttered, and write them not. 5And the angel which I saw stand upon the sea and upon the earth lifted up his hand to heaven, 6And sware by him that liveth for ever and ever, who created heaven, and the things that therein are, and the earth, and the things that therein are, and the sea, and the things which are therein, that there should be time no longer: 7But in the days of the voice of the seventh angel, when he shall begin to sound, the mystery of God should be finished, as he hath declared to his servants the prophets.

8And the voice which I heard from heaven spake unto me again, and said, Go and take the little book which is open in the hand of the angel which standeth upon the sea and upon the earth. 9And I went unto the angel, and said unto him, Give me the little book. And he said unto me, Take it, and eat it up; and it shall make thy belly bitter, but it shall be in thy mouth sweet as honey. 10And I took the little book out of the angel’s hand, and ate it up; and it was in my mouth sweet as honey: and as soon as I had eaten it, my belly was bitter. 11And he said unto me, Thou must prophesy again before many peoples, and nations, and tongues, and kings

Revelation 11 (possible the message of the prophecy of the two were in the little book which chapter 11-14 speak)

1And there was given me a reed like unto a rod: and the angel stood, saying, Rise, and measure the temple of God, and the altar, and them that worship therein. 2But the court which is without the temple leave out, and measure it not; for it is given unto the Gentiles: and the holy city shall they tread under foot forty and two months.

3And I will give power unto my two witnesses, and they shall prophesy a thousand two hundred and threescore days, clothed in sackcloth. 4These are the two olive trees, and the two candlesticks standing before the God of the earth. 5And if any man will hurt them, fire proceedeth out of their mouth, and devoureth their enemies: and if any man will hurt them, he must in this manner be killed. 6These have power to shut heaven, that it rain not in the days of their prophecy: and have power over waters to turn them to blood, and to smite the earth with all plagues, as often as they will. 7And when they shall have finished their testimony, the beast that ascendes out of the bottomless pit shall make war against them, and shall overcome them, and kill them. 8And their dead bodies shall lie in the street of the great city, which spiritually is called Sodom and Egypt, where also our Lord was crucified. 9And they of the people and kindreds and tongues and nations shall see their dead bodies three days and an half, and shall not suffer their dead bodies to be put in graves. 10And they that dwell upon the earth shall rejoice over them, and make merry, and shall send gifts one to another; because these two prophets tormented them that dwelt on the earth. 11And after three days and an half the Spirit of life from God entered into them, and they stood upon their feet; and great fear fell upon them which saw them. 12And they heard a great voice from heaven saying unto them, Come up hither. And they ascended up to heaven in a cloud; and their enemies beheld them. 13And the same hour was there a great earthquake, and the tenth part of the city fell, and in the earthquake were slain of men seven thousand: and the remnant were affrighted, and gave glory to the God of heaven.

14The second woe is past; and, behold, the third woe cometh quickly. 15And the seventh angel sounded; and there were great voices in heaven, saying, The kingdoms of this world are become the kingdoms of our Lord, and of his Christ; and he shall reign for ever and ever16And the four and twenty elders, which sat before God on their seats, fell upon their faces, and worshipped God, 17Saying, We give thee thanks, O Lord God Almighty, which art, and wast, and art to come; because thou hast taken to thee thy great power, and hast reigned. 18And the nations were angry, and thy wrath is come, and the time of the dead, that they should be judged, and that thou shouldest give reward unto thy servants the prophets, and to the saints, and them that fear thy name, small and great; and shouldest destroy them which destroy the earth. 19And the temple of God was opened in heaven, and there was seen in his temple the ark of his testament: and there were lightnings, and voices, and thunderings, and an earthquake, and great hail

Revelation 12

1And there appeared a great wonder in heaven; a woman clothed with the sun, and the moon under her feet, and upon her head a crown of twelve stars: 2And she being with child cried, travailing in birth, and pained to be delivered. 3And there appeared another wonder in heaven; and behold a great red dragon, having seven heads and ten horns, and seven crowns upon his heads. 4And his tail drew the third part of the stars of heaven, and did cast them to the earth: and the dragon stood before the woman which was ready to be delivered, for to devour her child as soon as it was born. 5And she brought forth a man child, who was to rule all nations with a rod of iron: and her child was caught up unto God, and to his throne. 6And the woman fled into the wilderness, where she hath a place prepared of God, that they should feed her there a thousand two hundred and threescore days. 7And there was war in heaven: Michael and his angels fought against the dragon; and the dragon fought and his angels, 8And prevailed not; neither was their place found any more in heaven. 9And the great dragon was cast out, that old serpent, called the Devil, and Satan, which deceiveth the whole world: he was cast out into the earth, and his angels were cast out with him. 10And I heard a loud voice saying in heaven, Now is come salvation, and strength, and the kingdom of our God, and the power of his Christ: for the accuser of our brethren is cast down, which accused them before our God day and night. 11And they overcame him by the blood of the Lamb, and by the word of their testimony; and they loved not their lives unto the death.

12Therefore rejoice, ye heavens, and ye that dwell in them. Woe to the inhabiters of the earth and of the sea! for the devil is come down unto you, having great wrath, because he knoweth that he hath but a short time. 13And when the dragon saw that he was cast unto the earth, he persecuted the woman which brought forth the man child14And to the woman were given two wings of a great eagle, that she might fly into the wilderness, into her place, where she is nourished for a time, and times, and half a time, from the face of the serpent. 15And the serpent cast out of his mouth water as a flood after the woman, that he might cause her to be carried away of the flood. 16And the earth helped the woman, and the earth opened her mouth, and swallowed up the flood which the dragon cast out of his mouth. 17And the dragon was wroth with the woman, and went to make war with the remnant of her seed, which keep the commandments of God, and have the testimony of Jesus Christ.

Revelation 13

1And I stood upon the sand of the sea, and saw a beast rise up out of the sea, having seven heads and ten horns, and upon his horns ten crowns, and upon his heads the name of blasphemy. 2And the beast which I saw was like unto a leopard, and his feet were as the feet of a bear, and his mouth as the mouth of a lion: and the dragon gave him his power, and his seat, and great authority. 3And I saw one of his heads as it were wounded to death; and his deadly wound was healed: and all the world wondered after the beast4And they worshipped the dragon which gave power unto the beast: and they worshipped the beast, saying, Who is like unto the beast? who is able to make war with him? 5And there was given unto him a mouth speaking great things and blasphemies; and power was given unto him to continue forty and two months. 6And he opened his mouth in blasphemy against God, to blaspheme his name, and his tabernacle, and them that dwell in heaven. 7And it was given unto him to make war with the saints, and to overcome them: and power was given him over all kindreds, and tongues, and nations. 8And all that dwell upon the earth shall worship him, whose names are not written in the book of life of the Lamb slain from the foundation of the world. 9If any man have an ear, let him hear. 10He that leadeth into captivity shall go into captivity: he that killeth with the sword must be killed with the sword. Here is the patience and the faith of the saints.

11And I beheld another beast coming up out of the earth; and he had two horns like a lamb, and he spake as a dragon. 12And he exerciseth all the power of the first beast before him, and causeth the earth and them which dwell therein to worship the first beast, whose deadly wound was healed. 13And he doeth great wonders, so that he maketh fire come down from heaven on the earth in the sight of men, 14And deceiveth them that dwell on the earth by the means of those miracles which he had power to do in the sight of the beast; saying to them that dwell on the earth, that they should make an image to the beast, which had the wound by a sword, and did live. 15And he had power to give life unto the image of the beast, that the image of the beast should both speak, and cause that as many as would not worship the image of the beast should be killed. 16And he causeth all, both small and great, rich and poor, free and bond, to receive a mark in their right hand, or in their foreheads: 17And that no man might buy or sell, save he that had the mark, or the name of the beast, or the number of his name. 18Here is wisdom. Let him that hath understanding count the number of the beast: for it is the number of a man; and his number is Six hundred threescore and six

Revelation 14

1And I looked, and, lo, a Lamb stood on the mount Sion, and with him an hundred forty and four thousand, having his Father’s name written in their foreheads. 2And I heard a voice from heaven, as the voice of many waters, and as the voice of a great thunder: and I heard the voice of harpers harping with their harps: 3And they sung as it were a new song before the throne, and before the four beasts, and the elders: and no man could learn that song but the hundred and forty and four thousand, which were redeemed from the earth. 4These are they which were not defiled with women; for they are virgins. These are they which follow the Lamb whithersoever he goeth. These were redeemed from among men, being the firstfruits unto God and to the Lamb. 5And in their mouth was found no guile: for they are without fault before the throne of God.

6And I saw another angel fly in the midst of heaven, having the everlasting gospel to preach unto them that dwell on the earth, and to every nation, and kindred, and tongue, and people, 7Saying with a loud voice, Fear God, and give glory to him; for the hour of his judgment is come: and worship him that made heaven, and earth, and the sea, and the fountains of waters. 8And there followed another angel, saying, Babylon is fallen, is fallen, that great city, because she made all nations drink of the wine of the wrath of her fornication. 9And the third angel followed them, saying with a loud voice, If any man worship the beast and his image, and receive his mark in his forehead, or in his hand, 10The same shall drink of the wine of the wrath of God, which is poured out without mixture into the cup of his indignation; and he shall be tormented with fire and brimstone in the presence of the holy angels, and in the presence of the Lamb: 11And the smoke of their torment ascendeth up for ever and ever: and they have no rest day nor night, who worship the beast and his image, and whosoever receiveth the mark of his name. 12Here is the patience of the saints: here are they that keep the commandments of God, and the faith of Jesus.

13And I heard a voice from heaven saying unto me, Write, Blessed are the dead which die in the Lord from henceforth: Yea, saith the Spirit, that they may rest from their labours; and their works do follow them. 14And I looked, and behold a white cloud, and upon the cloud one sat like unto the Son of man, having on his head a golden crown, and in his hand a sharp sickle. 15And another angel came out of the temple, crying with a loud voice to him that sat on the cloud, Thrust in thy sickle, and reap: for the time is come for thee to reap; for the harvest of the earth is ripe. 16And he that sat on the cloud thrust in his sickle on the earth; and the earth was reaped. 17And another angel came out of the temple which is in heaven, he also having a sharp sickle. 18And another angel came out from the altar, which had power over fire; and cried with a loud cry to him that had the sharp sickle, saying, Thrust in thy sharp sickle, and gather the clusters of the vine of the earth; for her grapes are fully ripe. 19And the angel thrust in his sickle into the earth, and gathered the vine of the earth, and cast it into the great winepress of the wrath of God. 20And the winepress was trodden without the city, and blood came out of the winepress, even unto the horse bridles, by the space of a thousand and six hundred furlongs.

Revelation 1
5 (possibly picks up from chapter 10 the end with the two witnesess)

1And I saw another sign in heaven, great and marvellous, seven angels having the seven last plagues; for in them is filled up the wrath of God. 2And I saw as it were a sea of glass mingled with fire: and them that had gotten the victory over the beast, and over his image, and over his mark, and over the number of his name, stand on the sea of glass, having the harps of God. 3And they sing the song of Moses the servant of God, and the song of the Lamb, saying, Great and marvellous are thy works, Lord God Almighty; just and true are thy ways, thou King of saints. 4Who shall not fear thee, O Lord, and glorify thy name? for thou only art holy: for all nations shall come and worship before thee; for thy judgments are made manifest.

5And after that I looked, and, behold, the temple of the tabernacle of the testimony in heaven was opened: 6And the seven angels came out of the temple, having the seven plagues, clothed in pure and white linen, and having their breasts girded with golden girdles. 7And one of the four beasts gave unto the seven angels seven golden vials full of the wrath of God, who liveth for ever and ever. 8And the temple was filled with smoke from the glory of God, and from his power; and no man was able to enter into the temple, till the seven plagues of the seven angels were fulfilled.

Revelation 16

1And I heard a great voice out of the temple saying to the seven angels, Go your ways, and pour out the vials of the wrath of God upon the earth2And the first went, and poured out his vial upon the earth; and there fell a noisome and grievous sore upon the men which had the mark of the beast, and upon them which worshipped his image. 3And the second angel poured out his vial upon the sea; and it became as the blood of a dead man: and every living soul died in the sea. 4And the third angel poured out his vial upon the rivers and fountains of waters; and they became blood. 5And I heard the angel of the waters say, Thou art righteous, O Lord, which art, and wast, and shalt be, because thou hast judged thus. 6For they have shed the blood of saints and prophets, and thou hast given them blood to drink; for they are worthy. 7And I heard another out of the altar say, Even so, Lord God Almighty, true and righteous are thy judgments.

8And the fourth angel poured out his vial upon the sun; and power was given unto him to scorch men with fire. 9And men were scorched with great heat, and blasphemed the name of God, which hath power over these plagues: and they repented not to give him glory. 10And the fifth angel poured out his vial upon the seat of the beast; and his kingdom was full of darkness; and they gnawed their tongues for pain, 11And blasphemed the God of heaven because of their pains and their sores, and repented not of their deeds.

12And the sixth angel poured out his vial upon the great river Euphrates; and the water thereof was dried up, that the way of the kings of the east might be prepared. 13And I saw three unclean spirits like frogs come out of the mouth of the dragon, and out of the mouth of the beast, and out of the mouth of the false prophet. 14For they are the spirits of devils, working miracles, which go forth unto the kings of the earth and of the whole world, to gather them to the battle of that great day of God Almighty. 15Behold, I come as a thief. Blessed is he that watcheth, and keepeth his garments, lest he walk naked, and they see his shame. 16And he gathered them together into a place called in the Hebrew tongue Armageddon.

17And the seventh angel poured out his vial into the air; and there came a great voice out of the temple of heaven, from the throne, saying, It is done. 18And there were voices, and thunders, and lightnings; and there was a great earthquake, such as was not since men were upon the earth, so mighty an earthquake, and so great. 19And the great city was divided into three parts, and the cities of the nations fell: and great Babylon came in remembrance before God, to give unto her the cup of the wine of the fierceness of his wrath. 20And every island fled away, and the mountains were not found. 21And there fell upon men a great hail out of heaven, every stone about the weight of a talent: and men blasphemed God because of the plague of the hail; for the plague thereof was exceeding great.

Revelation 17

1And there came one of the seven angels which had the seven vials, and talked with me, saying unto me, Come hither; I will show unto thee the judgment of the great whore that sitteth upon many waters: 2With whom the kings of the earth have committed fornication, and the inhabitants of the earth have been made drunk with the wine of her fornication. 3So he carried me away in the spirit into the wilderness: and I saw a woman sit upon a scarlet coloured beast, full of names of blasphemy, having seven heads and ten horns. 4And the woman was arrayed in purple and scarlet colour, and decked with gold and precious stones and pearls, having a golden cup in her hand full of abominations and filthiness of her fornication: 5And upon her forehead was a name written, MYSTERY, BABYLON THE GREAT, THE MOTHER OF HARLOTS AND ABOMINATIONS OF THE EARTH. 6And I saw the woman drunken with the blood of the saints, and with the blood of the martyrs of Jesus: and when I saw her, I wondered with great admiration.

7And the angel said unto me, Wherefore didst thou marvel? I will tell thee the mystery of the woman, and of the beast that carrieth her, which hath the seven heads and ten horns. 8The beast that thou sawest was, and is not; and shall ascend out of the bottomless pit, and go into perdition: and they that dwell on the earth shall wonder, whose names were not written in the book of life from the foundation of the world, when they behold the beast that was, and is not, and yet is. 9And here is the mind which hath wisdom. The seven heads are seven mountains, on which the woman sitteth. 10And there are seven kings: five are fallen, and one is, and the other is not yet come; and when he cometh, he must continue a short space. 11And the beast that was, and is not, even he is the eighth, and is of the seven, and goeth into perdition. 12And the ten horns which thou sawest are ten kings, which have received no kingdom as yet; but receive power as kings one hour with the beast13These have one mind, and shall give their power and strength unto the beast.

14These shall make war with the Lamb, and the Lamb shall overcome them: for he is Lord of lords, and King of kings: and they that are with him are called, and chosen, and faithful. 15And he saith unto me, The waters which thou sawest, where the whore sitteth, are peoples, and multitudes, and nations, and tongues. 16And the ten horns which thou sawest upon the beast, these shall hate the whore, and shall make her desolate and naked, and shall eat her flesh, and burn her with fire. 17For God hath put in their hearts to fulfil his will, and to agree, and give their kingdom unto the beast, until the words of God shall be fulfilled. 18And the woman which thou sawest is that great city, which reigneth over the kings of the earth.

Revelation 18

1And after these things I saw another angel come down from heaven, having great power; and the earth was lightened with his glory. 2And he cried mightily with a strong voice, saying, Babylon the great is fallen, is fallen, and is become the habitation of devils, and the hold of every foul spirit, and a cage of every unclean and hateful bird. 3For all nations have drunk of the wine of the wrath of her fornication, and the kings of the earth have committed fornication with her, and the merchants of the earth are waxed rich through the abundance of her delicacies. 4And I heard another voice from heaven, saying, Come out of her, my people, that ye be not partakers of her sins, and that ye receive not of her plagues. 5For her sins have reached unto heaven, and God hath remembered her iniquities. 6Reward her even as she rewarded you, and double unto her double according to her works: in the cup which she hath filled fill to her double. 7How much she hath glorified herself, and lived deliciously, so much torment and sorrow give her: for she saith in her heart, I sit a queen, and am no widow, and shall see no sorrow. 8Therefore shall her plagues come in one day, death, and mourning, and famine; and she shall be utterly burned with fire: for strong is the Lord God who judgeth her.

9And the kings of the earth, who have committed fornication and lived deliciously with her, shall bewail her, and lament for her, when they shall see the smoke of her burning, 10Standing afar off for the fear of her torment, saying, Alas, alas, that great city Babylon, that mighty city! for in one hour is thy judgment come. 11And the merchants of the earth shall weep and mourn over her; for no man buyeth their merchandise any more: 12The merchandise of gold, and silver, and precious stones, and of pearls, and fine linen, and purple, and silk, and scarlet, and all thyine wood, and all manner vessels of ivory, and all manner vessels of most precious wood, and of brass, and iron, and marble, 13And cinnamon, and odours, and ointments, and frankincense, and wine, and oil, and fine flour, and wheat, and beasts, and sheep, and horses, and chariots, and slaves, and souls of men. 14And the fruits that thy soul lusted after are departed from thee, and all things which were dainty and goodly are departed from thee, and thou shalt find them no more at all. 15The merchants of these things, which were made rich by her, shall stand afar off for the fear of her torment, weeping and wailing, 16And saying, Alas, alas, that great city, that was clothed in fine linen, and purple, and scarlet, and decked with gold, and precious stones, and pearls! 17For in one hour so great riches is come to nought. And every shipmaster, and all the company in ships, and sailors, and as many as trade by sea, stood afar off, 18And cried when they saw the smoke of her burning, saying, What city is like unto this great city! 19And they cast dust on their heads, and cried, weeping and wailing, saying, Alas, alas, that great city, wherein were made rich all that had ships in the sea by reason of her costliness! for in one hour is she made desolate. 20Rejoice over her, thou heaven, and ye holy apostles and prophets; for God hath avenged you on her. 21And a mighty angel took up a stone like a great millstone, and cast it into the sea, saying, Thus with violence shall that great city Babylon be thrown down, and shall be found no more at all. 22And the voice of harpers, and musicians, and of pipers, and trumpeters, shall be heard no more at all in thee; and no craftsman, of whatsoever craft he be, shall be found any more in thee; and the sound of a millstone shall be heard no more at all in thee; 23And the light of a candle shall shine no more at all in thee; and the voice of the bridegroom and of the bride shall be heard no more at all in thee: for thy merchants were the great men of the earth; for by thy sorceries were all nations deceived. 24And in her was found the blood of prophets, and of saints, and of all that were slain upon the earth.

Revelation 19

1And after these things I heard a great voice of much people in heaven, saying, Alleluia; Salvation, and glory, and honour, and power, unto the Lord our God: 2For true and righteous are his judgments: for he hath judged the great whore, which did corrupt the earth with her fornication, and hath avenged the blood of his servants at her hand. 3And again they said, Alleluia. And her smoke rose up for ever and ever. 4And the four and twenty elders and the four beasts fell down and worshipped God that sat on the throne, saying, Amen; Alleluia.

5And a voice came out of the throne, saying, Praise our God, all ye his servants, and ye that fear him, both small and great. 6And I heard as it were the voice of a great multitude, and as the voice of many waters, and as the voice of mighty thunderings, saying, Alleluia: for the Lord God omnipotent reigneth. 7Let us be glad and rejoice, and give honour to him: for the marriage of the Lamb is come, and his wife hath made herself ready. 8And to her was granted that she should be arrayed in fine linen, clean and white: for the fine linen is the righteousness of saints. 9And he saith unto me, Write, Blessed are they which are called unto the marriage supper of the Lamb. And he saith unto me, These are the true sayings of God. 10And I fell at his feet to worship him. And he said unto me, See thou do it not: I am thy fellowservant, and of thy brethren that have the testimony of Jesus: worship God: for the testimony of Jesus is the spirit of prophecy.

11And I saw heaven opened, and behold a white horse; and he that sat upon him was called Faithful and True, and in righteousness he doth judge and make war. 12His eyes were as a flame of fire, and on his head were many crowns; and he had a name written, that no man knew, but he himself. 13And he was clothed with a vesture dipped in blood: and his name is called The Word of God. 14And the armies which were in heaven followed him upon white horses, clothed in fine linen, white and clean. 15And out of his mouth goeth a sharp sword, that with it he should smite the nations: and he shall rule them with a rod of iron: and he treadeth the winepress of the fierceness and wrath of Almighty God. 16And he hath on his vesture and on his thigh a name written, KING OF KINGS, AND LORD OF LORDS. 17And I saw an angel standing in the sun; and he cried with a loud voice, saying to all the fowls that fly in the midst of heaven, Come and gather yourselves together unto the supper of the great God; 18That ye may eat the flesh of kings, and the flesh of captains, and the flesh of mighty men, and the flesh of horses, and of them that sit on them, and the flesh of all men, both free and bond, both small and great. 19And I saw the beast, and the kings of the earth, and their armies, gathered together to make war against him that sat on the horse, and against his army. 20And the beast was taken, and with him the false prophet that wrought miracles before him, with which he deceived them that had received the mark of the beast, and them that worshipped his image. These both were cast alive into a lake of fire burning with brimstone. 21And the remnant were slain with the sword of him that sat upon the horse, which sword proceeded out of his mouth: and all the fowls were filled with their flesh.

Revelation 20

1And I saw an angel come down from heaven, having the key of the bottomless pit and a great chain in his hand. 2And he laid hold on the dragon, that old serpent, which is the Devil, and Satan, and bound him a thousand years, 3And cast him into the bottomless pit, and shut him up, and set a seal upon him, that he should deceive the nations no more, till the thousand years should be fulfilled: and after that he must be loosed a little season. 5But the rest of the dead lived not again until the thousand years were finished. This is the first resurrection. 6Blessed and holy is he that hath part in the first resurrection: on such the second death hath no power, but they shall be priests of God and of Christ, and shall reign with him a thousand years. 7And when the thousand years are expired, Satan shall be loosed out of his prison, 8And shall go out to deceive the nations which are in the four quarters of the earth, Gog and Magog, to gather them together to battle: the number of whom is as the sand of the sea. 9And they went up on the breadth of the earth, and compassed the camp of the saints about, and the beloved city: and fire came down from God out of heaven, and devoured them. 10And the devil that deceived them was cast into the lake of fire and brimstone, where the beast and the false prophet are, and shall be tormented day and night for ever and ever.

11And I saw a great white throne, and him that sat on it, from whose face the earth and the heaven fled away; and there was found no place for them. 12And I saw the dead, small and great, stand before God; and the books were opened: and another book was opened, which is the book of life: and the dead were judged out of those things which were written in the books, according to their works. 13And the sea gave up the dead which were in it; and death and hell delivered up the dead which were in them: and they were judged every man according to their works. 14And death and hell were cast into the lake of fire. This is the second death. 15And whosoever was not found written in the book of life was cast into the lake of fire.

Revelation 21

1And I saw a new heaven and a new earth: for the first heaven and the first earth were passed away; and there was no more sea. 2And I John saw the holy city, new Jerusalem, coming down from God out of heaven, prepared as a bride adorned for her husband. 3And I heard a great voice out of heaven saying, Behold, the tabernacle of God is with men, and he will dwell with them, and they shall be his people, and God himself shall be with them, and be their God. 4And God shall wipe away all tears from their eyes; and there shall be no more death, neither sorrow, nor crying, neither shall there be any more pain: for the former things are passed away. 5And he that sat upon the throne said, Behold, I make all things new. And he said unto me, Write: for these words are true and faithful. 6And he said unto me, It is done. I am Alpha and Omega, the beginning and the end. I will give unto him that is athirst of the fountain of the water of life freely. 7He that overcometh shall inherit all things; and I will be his God, and he shall be my son. 8But the fearful, and unbelieving, and the abominable, and murderers, and whoremongers, and sorcerers, and idolaters, and all liars, shall have their part in the lake which burneth with fire and brimstone: which is the second death.

9And there came unto me one of the seven angels which had the seven vials full of the seven last plagues, and talked with me, saying, Come hither, I will show thee the bride, the Lamb’s wife. 10And he carried me away in the spirit to a great and high mountain, and showed me that great city, the holy Jerusalem, descending out of heaven from God, 11Having the glory of God: and her light was like unto a stone most precious, even like a jasper stone, clear as crystal; 12And had a wall great and high, and had twelve gates, and at the gates twelve angels, and names written thereon, which are the names of the twelve tribes of the children of Israel: 13On the east three gates; on the north three gates; on the south three gates; and on the west three gates. 14And the wall of the city had twelve foundations, and in them the names of the twelve apostles of the Lamb. 15And he that talked with me had a golden reed to measure the city, and the gates thereof, and the wall thereof. 16And the city lieth foursquare, and the length is as large as the breadth: and he measured the city with the reed, twelve thousand furlongs. The length and the breadth and the height of it are equal. 17And he measured the wall thereof, an hundred and forty and four cubits, according to the measure of a man, that is, of the angel. 18And the building of the wall of it was of jasper: and the city was pure gold, like unto clear glass. 19And the foundations of the wall of the city were garnished with all manner of precious stones. The first foundation was jasper; the second, sapphire; the third, a chalcedony; the fourth, an emerald; 20The fifth, sardonyx; the sixth, sardius; the seventh, chrysolyte; the eighth, beryl; the ninth, a topaz; the tenth, a chrysoprasus; the eleventh, a jacinth; the twelfth, an amethyst. 21And the twelve gates were twelve pearls; every several gate was of one pearl: and the street of the city was pure gold, as it were transparent glass. 22And I saw no temple therein: for the Lord God Almighty and the Lamb are the temple of it. 23And the city had no need of the sun, neither of the moon, to shine in it: for the glory of God did lighten it, and the Lamb is the light thereof. 24And the nations of them which are saved shall walk in the light of it: and the kings of the earth do bring their glory and honour into it. 25And the gates of it shall not be shut at all by day: for there shall be no night there. 26And they shall bring the glory and honour of the nations into it. 27And there shall in no wise enter into it any thing that defileth, neither whatsoever worketh abomination, or maketh a lie: but they which are written in the Lamb’s book of life.

Revelation 2
2

1And he showed me a pure river of water of life, clear as crystal, proceeding out of the throne of God and of the Lamb. 2In the midst of the street of it, and on either side of the river, was there the tree of life, which bare twelve manner of fruits, and yielded her fruit every month: and the leaves of the tree were for the healing of the nations. 3And there shall be no more curse: but the throne of God and of the Lamb shall be in it; and his servants shall serve him: 4And they shall see his face; and his name shall be in their foreheads. 5And there shall be no night there; and they need no candle, neither light of the sun; for the Lord God giveth them light: and they shall reign for ever and ever.

6And he said unto me, These sayings are faithful and true: and the Lord God of the holy prophets sent his angel to show unto his servants the things which must shortly be done. 7Behold, I come quickly: blessed is he that keepeth the sayings of the prophecy of this book. 8And I John saw these things, and heard them. And when I had heard and seen, I fell down to worship before the feet of the angel which showed me these things. 9Then saith he unto me, See thou do it not: for I am thy fellowservant, and of thy brethren the prophets, and of them which keep the sayings of this book: worship God. 10And he saith unto me, Seal not the sayings of the prophecy of this book: for the time is at hand. 11He that is unjust, let him be unjust still: and he which is filthy, let him be filthy still: and he that is righteous, let him be righteous still: and he that is holy, let him be holy still. 12And, behold, I come quickly; and my reward is with me, to give every man according as his work shall be. 13I am Alpha and Omega, the beginning and the end, the first and the last. 14Blessed are they that do his commandments, that they may have right to the tree of life, and may enter in through the gates into the city. 15For without are dogs, and sorcerers, and whoremongers, and murderers, and idolaters, and whosoever loveth and maketh a lie. 16I Jesus have sent mine angel to testify unto you these things in the churches. I am the root and the offspring of David, and the bright and morning star. 17And the Spirit and the bride say, Come. And let him that heareth say, Come. And let him that is athirst come. And whosoever will, let him take the water of life freely. 18For I testify unto every man that heareth the words of the prophecy of this book, If any man shall add unto these things, God shall add unto him the plagues that are written in this book: 19And if any man shall take away from the words of the book of this prophecy, God shall take away his part out of the book of life, and out of the holy city, and from the things which are written in this book.

20He which testifieth these things saith, Surely I come quickly. Amen. Even so, come, Lord Jesus. 21The grace of our Lord Jesus Christ be with you all. Amen.

Tribulation

Isaiah 2:5-4:1 speak of Israel's failure and judgment.

Isaiah 24:1-12, "This section of Isaiah's prophecies (24:1-7:13) is often called the Little Apocalypse because it looks beyond the immediate judgment of Israel's Gentile neighbors to the final judgments of the Tribulation period and the ushering in of the messianic kingdom. These chapters present universal judgment followed by universal blessings, The Lord moves in cataclysmic judgment upon the earth (erets), not simply on the "land" of Israel. In these verses "land" should read "earth." The severity of the Tribulation period is indicated by the statement that the Lord makes the earth empty, and ...waste. Turned it upside down is better read "distorted." The cities through war God empties the earth and leaves it a devastated and distorted wasteland. The cities of the earth are described as desolate and burned as a result of this universal destruction." (Notes from the King James Study Bible by Thomas nelson Publishers, Nashville 1988, page 1047)

Isaiah 24:13-23, "The universal nature of this eschatological judgment leaves the people of the earth as the shaking of an olive tree (i.e., empty and retaining only negligible remains). The reference to the uttermost part of the earth emphasizes the universal extent of this prophecy. This devastation will be so great that the foundations of the earth do shake from the aftershock. Thus, the earth shall reel to and fro like a drunkard. God's judgment will rock the very stability of the planet, reminding the people of the earth that they have rebelled against Him. The host of the high ones (Satanic powers) and the Kings of the earth (earthly powers) will be gathered in the pit... shut up ... many days. After a period of time shall they be visited (lit., "punished"). Notice the obvious parallel to Revelation 20:1-3, where Satin is bound in the bottomless pit for a thousand years and then loosed for a "little season," only to be cast into the lake of fire." (Notes from the King James Study Bible by Thomas nelson Publishers, Nashville 1988, page 1048)

Isaiah 25:1-12, "Begins with a song of exaltation and praise to God for the Triumph of His judgment of the world. The survivors of the Great Tribulation lift their voices in praise to God for His protection. The cities of mankind have fallen into ruin and the nations of the earth have been brought low (i.e. humbled) before the mighty God who alone has been a refuge from the storm. The veil does not refer to the veil of the temple but to the covering of death that hangs over all nations. Yet God will swallow up death in victory (i.e. 1 Cor. 15:54) and the Lord God will wipe away tears (i.e. Rev. 7:17). This act of His grace will then bring in the millennial kingdom." (Notes from the King James Study Bible by Thomas nelson Publishers, Nashville 1988, page 1048)

Isaiah 33:1-12, "Isaiah's final Woe on Isreal and Judah looks beyond the coming Assyrian invasion to the ultimate devastation that will come on the land in the final days. Thee that spoils and was not spoiled is a reference to the Antichrist and his kingdom. The time of trouble refers to the Tribulation period. The invading army is likened to a horde of locusts that shall cover the land of Israel. He hath broken the covenant . . . he regarded no man is certainly reminiscent of Daniel 9:27, which refers to the Antichrist. Thus both prophet foresees a time when the one who has promised to defend Israel will turn again her during the Tribulation period." Notes from the King James Study Bible by Thomas nelson Publishers, Nashville 1988, page 1057)

Isaiah 34:1-10, "This section of Isaiah's prophecy (34:1-35:10) is again apocalyptic in nature. The object of God's wrath will be the nations, the earth, and the world. Here the prophet depicts the worldwide carnage of the Battle of Armageddon when God's indignation and fury are poured out on all nations (goyim, Gentiles). So great is this destruction that the mountains shall be melted and the host of Heaven shall be dissolved (i.e. "melt" or "vanish"). So severe is this devastation that the atmosphere heaven shall be rolled together as a scroll. This apocalyptic judgment will be so cataclysmic that it will affect the earth and its atmosphere, and it will usher in "new heavens and a new earth" (65:17). The day of the lord's vengeance refers to the Battle of Armageddon (cf. Rev. 16:16). This is the final devastation of the world that culminates at the end of the Tribulation period (cf. "day of the Lord": Joel 2:2; Zeph. 1:15; Zech. 14:1; Mal. 4:5; "time of trouble": Dan. 12:1; "time of Jacob's trouble": Jer. 30:7; "the wrath to come": 1 Thess 1:10; "wrath of the Lamb": Rev. 6:16,17). Isaiah 34:11-17. The desolation and depopulation of Idumea (Edom) is symbolic of God's judgment on the entire Gentile world. The depopulation of the world by God's judgment is emphasized by the words confusion (tohu) and emptiness (bohu) which are also used in Genesis 1:2 to describe the earth as empty and lifeless. Thus the great civilizations have been reduced to a habitation of dragons (tanim, "jackals" or "scavengers"). For cormorant read "pelican"; for bittern read "porcupine": for Satyr read "wild goat." The book of the Lord refers to God's inspired prophecies predicting that such a day will certainly come to pass" (Notes from the King James Study Bible by Thomas nelson Publishers, Nashville 1988, page 1059)

Condition of Blessing the Nation of Israel Again

Deuteronomy 30

1And it shall come to pass, when all these things are come upon thee, the blessing and the curse, which I have set before thee, and thou shalt call them to mind among all the nations, whither the LORD thy God hath driven thee,  2And shalt return unto the LORD thy God, and shalt obey his voice according to all that I command thee this day, thou and thy children, with all thine heart, and with all thy soul;  3That then the LORD thy God will turn thy captivity, and have compassion upon thee, and will return and gather thee from all the nations, whither the LORD thy God hath scattered thee.  4If any of thine be driven out unto the outmost parts of heaven, from thence will the LORD thy God gather thee, and from thence will he fetch thee:  5And the LORD thy God will bring thee into the land which thy fathers possessed, and thou shalt possess it; and he will do thee good, and multiply thee above thy fathers.  6And the LORD thy God will circumcise thine heart, and the heart of thy seed, to love the LORD thy God with all thine heart, and with all thy soul, that thou mayest live.  7And the LORD thy God will put all these curses upon thine enemies, and on them that hate thee, which persecuted thee.  8And thou shalt return and obey the voice of the LORD, and do all his commandments which I command thee this day.  9And the LORD thy God will make thee plenteous in every work of thine hand, in the fruit of thy body, and in the fruit of thy cattle, and in the fruit of thy land, for good: for the LORD will again rejoice over thee for good, as he rejoiced over thy fathers:  10If thou shalt hearken unto the voice of the LORD thy God, to keep his commandments and his statutes which are written in this book of the law, and if thou turn unto the LORD thy God with all thine heart, and with all thy soul.
