Homosexual marriages and civil unions:

Yesterday I was listening to some of the reasoning as to the pros and cons for a legal civil union.

Legal Unions if defined from a Godly point will be in marriage between a man and a woman, Genesis 2:18,21-25, 1:26-28, Matthew 19:4-6, Ephesians 5:22-33, 1 Corinthians 7:1-9.

The arguments for other than a man and a woman to marry were being based on whether two homosexuals should be denied the right of a happy life and receive benefits given to heterosexuals. The pro homosexual’s argument was espousing that children could be raised without negative consequences based on the love of the homosexual relationship and the happiness of the two.

God does not agree, first as stated above and the second he speaks directly that marriage between a husband and wife, a man and woman is the catalyst for Godly children, Malachi 2:10,14,15, 1 Corinthians 7:14, Deuteronomy 6:4-9. The book of Proverbs is full of the responsibility of father and mother to teach the children to do good in this life, Proverbs 1:8, 6:20.

A single man or woman is to remain a virgin not having sexual relationships, 1 Corinthians 7:32-35, 36-38.

One of the radios’ so-call professional speakers was a man they called Reverend and a Christian. He was neither Reverend nor Christian. He was stating there wasn't anything wrong with a homosexual marriage. He claimed that if Jesus was living today he would agree. This 'so called' Reverend also claimed that children raised by homosexuals would be alright in a loving relationship with each other. This man was connecting the Bible, a Christian, a Reverend and Jesus together teaching falsehood. However, this man was and is espousing Antichrist’s teaching by his false teaching of Biblical true and denying God the Son, the Lord Jesus Christ. Also, this man was lying about the truths in the matter of which he was speaking and lying about what the Bible teaches, 1 Timothy 4:.1-5, 2 Timothy 3:1-7, 1 John 2:18, 22; 4:3, 2 John 1:7.

God’s morals of holiness, righteousness and justice has not changed, homosexuality (sex with same sex) Leviticus 18:22, is wickedness or sin, along with bestiality (sex with animals) Leviticus 18:23, pedophilia (sexual interest toward prepubescent children), adultery (Sex with another man or woman’s spouse) Exodus 20: 14, Leviticus 18:20, Necrophilia (also called thanatophilia or necrolagnia, is the sexual attraction to corpses), incest (sexual relationship between closely related individuals or minors) Leviticus 18:1-21,  fornication (any sexual activity that is practiced contrary to and in accordance with God’s creation – such as sex before marriage, being a whore, a prostitute, living together outside of marriage, etc.), Romans 1:18-32, Acts 15:29, 1 Corinthians 5:1–5, 5:9–11, 6:1-9, 1 Corinthians 10:8, Galatians 5:19, Ephesians 4:19, 5:3, 1 Thessalonians 4:3–7, 1 Peter 4:1–3, Revelation 2:14–16, 2:20, 2:21–23,

The truth in God’s Word, the Bible says all such sins is perversion and wickedness of the truth and is forbidden which carry severe judgments, they are never condoned by God for any reason. God makes it clear all such behavior is not holy and anyone who is bent on such practices are to view their behavior as sin and wrong, Romans 3:23, 6:23, Revelation 20:11-15; 22:12-16. However, you can be set free from the addiction of such sin and can have forgiveness through the work of God, He does forgive and deliverance to the repentant heart, (the one who turns from themselves to Him) Psalms 103, Matthew 11:27-30, 2 Corinthians 7:10, Romans 2:4, 3:24, 6:19 10:9-13, John 1:12, 1 John 1:9-2:3, 5:9-14.

The Word of God does reveal that such practices have been practiced over the history of the fallen state of humanity ever since the first sin of Adam and Eve, Romans 5. All humanity is capable of any and all existing wickedness but being capable and practicing such evil does not have to go together, Romans 3:10-18. When practicing such wickedness begins, a personal orientation makes them a slave and the behavior becomes their master of the wickedness consuming the individual, Romans 6:15-23, Galatians 5:16-23.

Only the power of God can set a person free and when this occurs and with the individual’s acknowledgment, agreeing to their sin and inability to free themselves, longing for God to set them free, one can be set free, Romans 7. No one can be helped by God until they come to an end of themselves and agree with God of their need asking Him for deliverance Titus 3:5. God sets a person free when they start with these facts and then continue to grow in the truths of God found in His word. First, a person needs to be forgiven for their sin becoming God’s redeemed child and then as a believer applying the growth tools which gives deliverance from the wicked practice, Ephesians 2:4-9.

This new believer as they grow in God’s truths they experience the strength to overcome their past orientation of wickedness because the power of the Holy Spirit is working in the transformation of their behavior, Philippians 1:6. God does this through the tools working together, the tools of the Bible, prayer, the preaching of the truths of God’s Bible as it is preached in church, and by keeping company with other believers.

Therefore civil unions are not the issue, but the fact that all wickedness is against God and there is no exceptions. All homosexuality, bestiality, pedophilia, adultery, Necrophilia, incest and fornication is wickedness, sin, not holy, not righteous, and not just for mankind, who is eternal and created in the image of God. All humanity is capable of this wickedness, but all who practice it is a sinner and a slave to wickedness. All have the potential of wickedness, but all can be delivered, transformed by the working of God with your acknowledgment of the desire to be set free. God make provisions for you through His sacrifice on the cross and holds open the door to be forgiven and set you free, even while you maybe still rejecting Him, He loves you and wants to set you free, Romans 5:6-11, Ephesians 2. God forgives all sin – there is no sin He will not be able to forgive and set one free, free from the orientation and practice, but it is based on your free will to come to Him, His way, John 3:16-20, Matthew 10.

Does an individual deserve to be happy? God gives more than ‘happen chances’ He give joy and peace within one's heart which brings the joy of life and the desire to live to its fullest, Galatians 5:22,  Philippians 4:6,7. True well-being of life come from being forgiven by the only God we are accountable to, the God of creation! He provided the means for life through His sacrifice on the cross and He is offering this relationship to all who accept the Lord Jesus Christ as their personal need of life. God gives the daily transformation needed in all situations by the Holy Spirit as one reads, and applies the Bible to their lives, Philippians 1:6. The work God does in your life is for eternity, 2 Corinthians 5:7-9, 1 Thessalonians 4:13-18, 1 Peter 1:3,4.

The participating parties of reproduction are done in marriage by a man and a woman not in any other combination. So the issue before the world is who are you going to follow Satan reveal's death or God the creator and life? God says children of a man and a woman is what He is looking for so the next generation will have life. Husbands and wives have been ordained with roles of responsibility to a family to live for Him. Children are to have a dad and a mother who teaches them the good and truth of God and to avoid evil, wickedness, sin, and the bad within the heart of the soul.
